I collect the old WWF LJN guys and the smaller WWF Hasbro figures from the early 1990s. Not to hardcore about it, just whenever i find them at flea marets and garage sales. Got most of the LJN figures from over the years.

I'm going to get into these guys since I'm a big wrestling fan, but I only want whatever the current lines are producing which is I believe called Jakks right?

Yeah, Jakks makes them. They make most of the guys over and over and over again. So you should be good.

I collect some wrestling figures, different ones from the US, Japan, and Mexico...Masked wrestlers are almost always a buy for me.
From Jakks, I have Ultimo Dragon, Rey Misterio (Flash outfit), b.W.o Stevie Richards, Jim Cornette, Kurt Angle, Flair, Benoit, Regal, Tajiri, and a few others. Can't wait for a c.m. punk ! I have one LJN figure: Dynamite Kid (British Bulldogs).
My favorite wrestlers I have right now are three 3 3/4" (just like vintage GI Goes, with slightly better posability) Japanese wrestlers- Tiger Mask, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, and the Great Muta...they're awesome.

Oh man you gotta show us those smaller 3 3/4 wrestlers! I still want to get the Great Muta one but those go pretty pricey for a 3 3/4 figure!

Front corner of my wrestling shelf: I paid $20 for Tiger mask and Liger, Muta was $10 on ebay. I won like 4-5 lots from the same seller, the others were Japanese open carded figures. Wrestling collectors can be such card snobs, most auctions ended with only 1-2 bids, I got such a sweet deal! Like $30 total for figs that sell for soooo much more on sealed cards like the 4.99 I paid for a tiger mask that sold for $75 the next week! Hahahaha! bayu- have you tried highspots.com? They carry everything wrestling (lots of different Mutas!) and have great customer service. My Liger and Tiger Mask (+ other stuff) came from them. They even help promote independent wrestling shows in the Carolinas, I met them (and Abdullah, Dusty Rhodes, and later terry Funk and Greg Valentine) at these shows. They're 5 stars in my book.

Yeah I heard of that site for these figures but I just don't have the cash right now for them. I just hope they still have them in a couple of months? Great picture man and that red and white guy just might be my new favorite?

There's a whole collection of the 3 3/4" figs, I believe.
Red & white guy is Jushin Liger. He's a real-life pro wrestler whose costume is based on a cartoon by Go Nagai, the same guy that designed the Shogun Warriors Great Mazinga, Dragun, Poseidon, Raider, and Grandizer. He's a legend in Japan(the wrestler) and they've made several figs of him, he occassionally wears the costume in different color schemes. He actually had a really famous match with Muta. Near the climax of their epic battle Muta ripped Liger's mask and the upper part of his bodysuit open; revealing Liger's body painted and and his face painted to match Muta! Liger then did the crazy mist attack (that's Muta's schtick) as the crowd went from 'ooooooh' to riotous insanity- ohmygawd I love the Japanese!!!!!
My current fave is the Red & Gold Tiger Mask 1. It's the actual first Tiger Mask (Olympic Silver Medallist Saotoru Sayama) wearing a mask that he wore when he came out of retirement and tagged with Liger. Coolest thing is he's got 2 different removable masks, so for a couple hours the day he arrived EVERYBODY got to be a tiger mask...Ric Flairtigermask...Shazam Tigermask...Green lantern Tigermask....Ogre Kingtigermask.... almost had Panthro Tigermask!!!!

Talk about old things becoming new again.....
I find myself drawn to specific wrestling figures now despite not having seen a wrestling match in YEARS . Whats worst...its not the uber articulated Real Scan quality figures either lol.

The only Jakks i have is a Ric Flair doing his "Whoooo" face, he comes with a red robe with Nature Boy on the back and his classic gold belt. My wife bought it for my birthday a couple of years ago. I also have Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips the Ultimate Male from Rocky 3
Apart from those 2 i don't want to start collecting Jakks as there are just too many of them.
