This line was made by Phoenix Toys and Appleworks in 1983. It's looks very cool and very Motu like. It's a small line with only four figures, but on the same line you can find Mr. T, Sylvester Stallone, Hulk Hugan and Carl Weathers together. Anyone own this figures?? They're hard to find loose and complete, always missing the gloves or the trunks. On this page, they mention Drago (Dolph Lundgren) but I think this figure doesn't exist: www.virtualtoychest.com/rockyiii/rockyiii.htmlAlso, anyone knows if there's any playset, like a boxing ring??

According to my guide there's a Drago, but I've never seen one. There was a playset: Rocky Sock 'Em Set. Sound like Roch'em Sock'em Robots.

Hey, thanks for the info, I've never heard before about the playset Do you know where can I find some pics from Drago and the Rocky Sock 'Em Set playset??
I found this site where they mention the plasyset (no pic) but no Drago. Also they said that the Thunderlips figure was the first ever Hulk Hogan figure.

I don't have any pix. They're just listed in a guide I have. I couldn't tell you if Thunderlips was the first Hulk Hogan figure, but I can tell you that they made a Rocky figure before the Phoenix Toys Rocky line came out.

I have a set of these figures. y'all are right it is hard to complete theme loose. It can be done but takes a while. I have never seen a drago. I do not think that they made one, but who knows. And yes there was a Rockey figure out before these in a 2 & 1/2" metal figure by Ertl from a toy line call "Super Stars" I think it was called. They also made a fall guy, Richard petty, and Bandit from Smokey and the bandit. They are cool on the card only. the thing is, that the Rockey figure is not list as Rockey but under Sylvester Stallone, but has a pic of Rockey on the card and the figure comes with boxing gloves and trunks.

Actually the first Hulk Hogan figure released was by Popy in Japan back in 1981 I don't think the Drago figure was ever released (at least I have never seen one). My guess is Virtualtoychest's reference to it is actually from the guidebook Sanfords has. The 3 volume Tomart's action figure guide was printed over 10 years ago so has allot of outdated info in it (if in fact these are the books Sanfords is referring to).
