I had that Terron in 1978 for my Christmas present. It does slow moving legs and red eyes flashing (on and off). Included remote control & battery case. Anyone who had Terron when they were kid?

That is one toy, do you still own it? I have never come across this before. Were there any other creatures like this in the Super Joe line?

Nice score! The only thing about sealed items is that you can't really play with them .

Yeah, but I'm thinking about to open it.
If I'm going to open it, I should take pictures and camera flimming at me while I'm opening it is a good idea, so I can prove it to anyone that had never been opened. ;D

I checked my 8 yrs old Official Price Guide To ACTION * FIGURES First Edition book about Super Joe Terron Beast MIB (#7509?, 1978) value is $225!
But this year went up.
I can't finding a new price guide for Action Figures book, to find out the value for Terron.
Anyone knows the value for Terron?

I checked all my magazines and none of the had pricing for anything from Super Joes. Have you tried doing a completed item search on Ebay. It is usually the most accurate price guide if you take an average of any of these that sold in similar condition.

Hey Guys, New to this Forum, I was invited here by 10incher. That Super Joe Tehran Beast, reminded me that the lady down the street has one in the garage underneath the big Krakken Sea Monster. She has this huge wooden bin, and it's full of old toys. Everytime I show interest in one of the toys, she grabs it, and says she's keeping it. The box is the same size as a military footlocker. Any real NINJAs on here want to take it from her, PM me, and I'll give yah map directions. TIP: She never closes the garage. The Super Joe line left a bad taste in many Joe collectors mouths. I hope Sigma Six won't have the same stigma attached to it.

I love that Terron figure! I think the other figures from the line are pretty cool to such as Gor, The Shield, Luminos & Darkon. What do the regular figures go for loose these days on Ebay? I may have to pick up a few.

I have been looking for Gor, The Shield, Luminos, Darkon, Super Joe figures, MIB Rocket Command Center Super Adventure set with Gor on ebay daily but they're the toughest to finding complete ones on ebay, most are broken pieces. Anyway, I'll buy incomplete Super Joe stuff and restore them. I'll collects them all someday.

My friend Mark found Super Joe body parts with head, 2 suits, 1 boot and black power vest for me. I heard most original Super Joe figure have been breaking easy So, I replaced him with PMAJ body. I took 1999 Playing Mantis Action Jackson's head off and sanded the neck stem (plug) a bit narrowed. I put Super Joe's head on PMAJ body, suit, black power vest and one boot. The suit sleves is long, so I folded them inside of wists. Finally, he looks near perfect! What do you think?

I know that this is a tall order, but I have to believe that there is someone who can do it. I just need to find them. Sometime I would say between 1978 and 1982 I found some action figures marked down at Target. They were approximately 9 inch tall as I recall (at least it seems they were a bit larger than Megos). They were nowhere near as big as the 12 inch ones though. I would say 10 inches tops, but probably 9. They were made out of much harder plastic than Megos. I believe the muscles were well defined and seemed a bit more detailed than Megos. The hair was molded and painted on I think. There were three I can somewhat remember. Two looked like they were almost identical except for coloring of the skin, hair and eyes. One was a white (Caucasian) man with brown hair and beard. The other was a green guy with black hair and beard, and he had red unnatural alien type looking eyes with no pupils. The third figure was totally different and had no hair. He was some sort of robot or was in some sort of robot type suit. Parts of him were chrome and one of his arms was fixed at a right angle approximately level to his chest and with a shield molded as about half of his arm. That is pretty much all I remember. They were unfamiliar to me at the time and were not part of the DC or Marvel Comics lines or even by Mego I think. Every once in a while I remember these fondly (they looked cool), but I have no idea what they were. Any help in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nice try, but sorry. I was editing and adding to my post while you were replying. I am sure they were 9 inch or 10 at the very most. They weren't anywhere close to the 12 inch figures that I had in height or in size. The heads were about the same size as Megos and they were close to the same in size, just a little taller I think and maybe slightly bigger. (but still in scale)

You're thinking of Super Joe. The green guy is Darkon, the guy with the shield is ... The Shield. I had Luminos from this line and Gor. They were pretty cool at the time. I wish I knew what happened to them.

Yeah Super Joe was pretty cool. Expect them to be restrung or in pieces if you find them. Big Jim figures were actually only about 9 & 1/2 inches tall. But Medium Jim wasn't a very cool name so they called them BIG Jim.

Thanks a lot. I am pretty sure those were them. I would like to see better pictures somewhere to be sure. I don't remember the costumes that they came with as they must have gotten lost or torn up, but I think you got it. The Darkon name sounds right too. You guys rock. I tried finding out off and on for a while, but never had any luck. Thanks again!
