I have the earlier Star Trek, Kiss and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon ones. I liked the bigger size of these ones, made before they started making Marvels with a smaller size. I found the Marvels neat as well, but hell, I hold myself to not start a new series since they changed size and the part won't work together.
As other mini-figure I also have some Myclone from Takara of Transformers and Micronauts line, some Planet of the Apes Kubricks, Hanna-Barbera Thundarr and Galaxy Trio guys and finally many horror Mez-Itz.

I have a couple Marvels and a couple DCs...and a few Kubricks from Japan
I saw the full barrage of figures minimates is planning on releasing this year...Holy crap. Not a huge fan of the design of some of these, but what other toy line is going to give you Green Lantern, Thor, and Marty McFly?
Target stores in my area marked their assortments to 50% off in my area. DD/Ghost Rider , Colossus/Wolvy unmasked , Spiderwoman/busted spidey are all I saw.... $2.50 a pair. 05/14/07

I have a couple but as cool as they are...they didnt take the idea far enough. I look at whats possible with Stiks'....and then look at my MM's and wonder why they (Asylum) didnt take it that extra step.

I agree, da18th They just don't 'shine' like Stikfas or even Kubricks; they seem like a poor hybrid of both. I'll probably grab my favorite characters(Green Lanterns, Shazam!, and Thor+Loki) and pass on the rest.
I'm not a fan of ArtAsylum in general. Weren't they among the first to campaign for crediting artists on packages? IIRC, the Toynami Space Ghost was their design, and they trumpeted the victory of getting 'Artists their due credit', but they overlooked Alex Toth, the man who designed Space Ghost back in the 60s. His name was left out of that discussion, hiipocrites.

I have seen them Snipe and really like them, but I have one question, where is my Trixie figure in the bunch.
I will probably pick some up soon, already have some minimates on reserve with my LCS.

I havent heard of these Mini figures (from MAttel / Hot Wheels). Are they stand alone figures or are they a part of a larger line with vehicles?

They have a line of figures with a vehicle. that usually turns into two vehicles, and a series of the same size (and probably same figures) figures in two packs with an accessory like a cycle and two figures. I have seen two or 3 versions of Speed, Pop, the little brother and monkey, Racer X, a Ninja, and one other nefarious looking figure, maybe a couple more. No Trixie or her Heli yet though.

Been on a minimates kick lately, all Marvel. In addition to what I already had, recently I've gotten:
*Stilt Man (AWESOME!!!) *Juggernaut *Absorbing Man and Captain America *Taskmaster (more accessories than any other I've seen) *Annihilus (love it) *Arnim Zola *Green Goblin *Hobgoblin
I already have a few waves, 3 different ones, in boxes, my fave is Mysterio.

I got my first minimate when I saw Lockjaw staring me at me from his little plastic prison, and somehow they gave me an Outback era X-men to boot. If only more toymakers would learn this lesson I don't need a Spider-man in every third double pack. The latest I got was the full set of Battle Beast mates, Annihilus, and the Silver Surfer. I love that I'm able to cherry pick these lines and only pick up the ones I want.
I have Marvel, Universal Monsters, Street Fighter, and a hodge podge of random figures I find to cool to pass up. Mates like Slimer or Terminators.

I'm up to around 45 or so, before the loose ones I picked up, I got the line with the Brood/Storm/Wolverine/etc. and the Heralds of Galactus 4 pack...I wish their was a company that sold stands for these. I know some come with stands, but not many, and I know some people use lego's, but I have zero idea what size...My fave I have is Mysterio, followed by Archangel, Stiltman, Taskmaster and Annihilus.

homeschoolman, mine don't, but I don't play with them, I just have them on a shelf. The only problem I have with them is some of them don't stand up well and they only make stands for certain figures. Also they're a bit fragile, the arms anyway, but the sheer amount of characters they have made makes up for it, plus the graphics and designs have REALLY advanced over the years, and they're fairly cheap if you buy them new. They also have alot of accessories now. The Star Wars Kubricks are beautiful, I'd love to collect them but I already collect too many lines (and the Alien Kubrick is super cool). But I am not big on the Marvel figures they made, I like the designs on Minimates much better, and I am not fond of the more deformed, super short legs on Kubricks in general. I know it's their style, just some look better than others with it. If they have a big built up chest with muscles like Batman or Superman, it looks wierd with the little stub legs.. By the way, are Kubricks bigger than Minimates?
