I'd recommend the BTAS Combat Belt Batman. His colors are pretty accurate compared to cartoon. I also like the older Mego 3-4 inch Batman figures.
After you pick up all the different Batman figures, and there's at least 100 - 200 of these, you can start collecting the different Wolverine figures.

The new DC Comics Super Heroes line is decent (a lot of old Super Powers designs coming back), and anything DC Direct is pretty much always solid.

Almost any DC Direct Batman fig is gonna be true to comic form. In my opinion....DC direct makes the best comic to toy product. Though not nearly as articulated as Marvel Legends....I think they look a helluva lot better.

I agree, the DC Direct series' are the best. One problem though with looking for an "accurate figure from the comics" is with the use of different art teams on many story lines now you have so many comic versions of Batman, for instance Alex Ross and Michael Turner will very likely have two different Batman styles that may show up in the same book but in different story lines as the issue numbers increase or you may have a style in Detective Comics that differs with the Batman title and the Justice League titles. The best thing is to choose which you like best and buy. The classics are great, like Mego and Super Powers also there was a Japanese Micro - man type metal Batman I believe that was off the hook with multiple joints and was about 4 inches tall. I liked that one. Good Luck.

These are the only Batman related figures I have at the moment, But I shall concentrate more on my Comic Figures once my "Star Trek collection has finished.
