Does anyone have more info on these so called Combo figures? And are there more manufacturers of He Man Knock offs?
And are there more Vehicles of these lines than stated on this Forum?

Combo aka Combo Hero. I don't really have alot of info other than that the same rules for production and manufacturing goes for most of these figure lines, but that's another thread in which I plan to post some pics. I have almost every Combo figure (I think).
Alright, the vehicle - what is it???

Most of the carded figures on that site has the Sewco logo. Nice! They've even indicated which years the figures were available, 1984 - 1987. I've seen 1987 on some other site but I don't know if this fact is certain. But it seems possible that they first came out in 1984 (my favorite year) since they were released after Galaxy Warriors which came out in 1983. I've never seen any year markings on any of the cards.

Ok, What are these? I know they look sooo damaged, but they are still a mystery to me. I have the guy with Magoon head since I was a kid, he was exactly as Magoon but with the longer legs and arms, he was a victim of my primitive customs, I painted my figures according to characters I created . I received the other Batoon head guy as a gift from a friend when he sold me some stuff, he told me "I added one of those fake he-man you're always asking me" When I opened the box I realized that the figure was Batoon with long legs and arms ( and that it was very damaged as well) I believe these figures were probably made by Madison Ltd, as they have the Madison Soldiers legs. Has anybody ever came across with one of these guys??? Madison Soldiers: actionfiguresca.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=GIJoe&action=display&thread=1151820811

Correction: The shield on the right is a Galaxy Hero shield like shuptrine wrote, but GH and CH do share alot of the same (or similar) accessories in all releases though I don't think I've seen the shield on the right with any carded CH. My bad...

Can't remember if any other known figures were also made for this line. Come on, somebody must have one of these guys somewhere, maybe a picture or something.

These figures, I just don't know besides that they are crap. They're not even fun to own, they're so ugly and badly made. The only good thing is for comparison purposes. Did anyone ever sort out what the actual name of the figure line is for these solid rubber guys? Here is a pic of the ones I own (the figures in the top row), same thing, the chest and legs are 1 solid rubber piece.

I'm guessing they're another variation of the Galaxy Heroes? I have a few too and I think they're pretty and fun to own.

Yea, I wrote this a long time ago but I've had a change of heart since then so now I think they're fun to own. And yes they are Galaxy Heroes. As TKOM wrote, there was at least five different releases with varied quality. The ones on the bottom of the pic are from some wrestling line.

What's the deal with the Galaxy Fighters. Some are marked Sewco and some are not?

|
|
Post by drekkus on Dec 29, 2006 13:23:02 GMT -6
The older ones are marked sewco on the right leg, and the newer ones don't have that. So it has to do with age to my best knowings

So are the unmarked GF's still made by Sewco?
|
|
|
Post by THE KNOCK-OFF MESSIAH on Dec 29, 2006 14:34:59 GMT -6
marked and unmarked have been found on all cards. and are believed to be from the same source but due to public domain and the mass use of the molds they probably saw it suited to leave them unmarked.

Is it the same with Sungold and the Galaxy Warriors?

Post by drekkus on Dec 29, 2006 15:35:26 GMT -6
probably so but sungold the older ones are marked on the leg and the youger ones on the back if I remember correctly.
