The pegasaurus is a color variant of the one I have and the mammoth stays in my collection so nothing to sell at the moment

YEp they were from ebay, I bought the pegasaurus first from this guy and when I looked at the auction again a few days later these showed up amongst the other things he had for sale. He didn't want to sell them around ebay so I had to sit and wait, keep my fingers crossed that my bids would hold. (I totally forgot to watch the end of the auction, so was surprised that I won them, normally I'll protect my bids at the end)
It is a color variant in the way that mine is greybrown from color (look at the pics I send you) and this one is orange (I think you have an orange one yourself).
When it arrives I'll take a picture of both and post it on the site that way it's immediately clear wht I mean.

Alright, how can I fix the legs on these guys to make them stand? I'm talking about GW, I've never had this problem with GF for some reason. They seem more sturdy. Anyway, the legs are often very loose even though the fig appear to be in mint condition and the pelvis rubber band seem fine. But alot of times the Sungold releases all have the same problem. Any ideas, 'cuase I just threw my GW Baltard in the ground and shattered him just because he wanted to play Domino Man. My fuse blow easily ;D

Got my first figure that is somewhat involved in this thread today. It only took 45 days and threats through Paypal and eBay to Jeffthewelch to get it. Ugggg Anyway it is a Galaxy Hero solid body with movable arms and head. It is all green with red shorts and has a snake head. I will shoot a pic and post when I can. It is really cheesy cool. Thanks for the great thread guys!

Here is his pic, I am not sure what to call him, is it Kobraa or is there another name already given to him?

The Galaxy Heroes I've seen don't have names on the package. So Kobraa should be fine...or Kolslaa or Hoebro, watevah you'd like to call him.

did you see tokyonever's kid pix with combo warriors carded as galaxy heroes?? nice! well that finishes that odd connection between the lines. It seems the variations may be infinite on these MF'ers. It's probably impossible to collect them all, but we can certainly try.

You can't really 'collect them all' if you can't be certain who 'they' are or when 'all' is really all. Without a definitive archive, we can never be certain about what Sungold variation came from what card and which weapons came with it. It's like trying to form an alphabet out of letters you don't know, without knowing how many letters should be in the alpabet to begin with! When it comes to these figures: One of each that I come across in passing, thank you. That's it.

Just getting a bit of advice here. I recently picked up a lot of 5 MOC Galaxy Warriors figures and with shipping I ended up paying $25 each for them but they are dead mint cards. Did I overpay on this or was that a fair price?

Post by Centurn on Feb 17, 2008 14:20:37 GMT -6
Well if the cards were perfect maybe it was fair but it's hard to say. Are these the ones that's been on ebay? I'd say that you are the only one to decide if it was a good deal or not since you ended up buying them. The carded figures are quite common though they've been few on ebay lately, but people tend to ask more for these figs then I would give. They are not as rare as some sellers would wan't you to think. I don't know if you got anything from what I just said but this business is a waiting game for the most part and you can end up making a really sweet deal.

Yeah it's the Italian auction. After his last no sale I offered a lower bid and he took it, but the shipping is just so dang much.

The black guy on the left in the first pic is a Madison wrestler with dion warriors looking accessories. And the others are still uncertain. They are GF with diferent paintjobs a bit like what FF is to GW. The blue Anubi is the GF version but he doesn't look like he belong to the other guys in the last pic - not the same type of colouring. The weps on him looks to be a mix of GW and MW but they could still belong to him since Sungold and Sewco tied in to eachother though I've never seen it before. We haven't seen nearly as much of different lines coming from Sewco/Madison as we have seen from Sunglod. I'm talking about original molds being used for new lines, but they even out more and more. There's probably alot more out there than we've seen yet not to mention lines we still don't have a name for.

I came across a Red version of the shield that came with Batoon in the Galaxy Fighters Line. there is no sticker on it ( not sure if it had one originally ). Is this from another similar line of figures?

Is this from another similar line of figures? Flexatron & Speclatron used that same shield w/o stickers in several different colors. I've seen them in red, blue, yellow, & of course silver-with weapons to match.

Interesting! I wish I had come across one of those 2 figures instead of the freakin' shield! Of late, I have seen some bootleg Warrior Beast figures listed on ebay with similar weapons and a mix of bootleg He-Man weapons. Gosh it gets confusing when they start bootlegging knock-offs!
The figures themselves are crazy bright colors - not sure if anyone else has seen them.

They're awesome & definitely some of the more sought after & illusive variations. The galaxy figure/weapon molds have certainly made the rounds.

Just realized you're referring to the mexican bootlegs. They are most certainly a hodgepodge of poorly painted plastic. Though some are pretty striking looking. It's just the paint apps that dissuade me. They always look like they've been painted with a wisk broom by someone stricken with palsy.
