Hello, welcome to the place. way to post up a storm!!!!
Yes those were the bad guys... I bought the entire run of the comics awhile back (the original marvel run) and need to take the time to read them. I never understood the story outside the toys in the few comics i did read...or inside the toys world itself. are they little guys who come to our world via time travel? hmmm...and these guys are one of my favorite lines i guess i should take some time to understand the idea behind the story, if there is one, somewhere....lol... ;D

Whats up with those micronaut remakes anyway? Its like they were trying to ruin the line with (cheap?) that breakable plastic. Hopefully the toyline will be given another chance sometime in the future since it seems a few retro lines have done well. I just hope that if they do they are close to the originals. Do ALL of them break easily? Its probably better to just leave them package if so, making the loose ones sold on ebay not even worth getting. If I remember correctly there was some kind problem getting the U.S. rights to micromen from the former Mego heads that keep remakes from happening. I may be wrong but possible.
Alot of the original mego micros ive seen are priced high and in bad shape. I rather have a remake, lol.

Micronauts are very cool. I have wanted them for a very long time but sadly they arent easy to come by. Keep a eye on ebay and study up on them to learn more about the line. Baron Karzi is one of the baddest of the bad. Hes probably meanier than Darth Vader. (He reminds me more of Darkseid actually). I really like his design. Hopefully the line will be given another chance.

In my opinion the original ones have a slightly cooler "look" to them that only something made in the 70's can have. As far as the Lords of Light go, I watch for these guys diligently. What I have noticed is that an Emperor Dementia (the least breakable figure from the line) seems to come up on Ebay maybe once every couple of months. I've seen a couple of the other figures sell but very less often, maybe once every 6 months and they are usually just partial figures (missing head, legs, etc.).

The originals are much better for sure. Its such a cool concept to begin with that you would think toy companies would be jumping at a chance to bring these back. Thats partly why I think there may be some kind of legal limbo thats holding back a re-release. The toy isles could really use something like them now. To be honest, new toys are kinda bland.

I love the Alien figures, especially the second series. I have had all of 'em over the years, but not any more.

I recently sold my Pallisades stuff but kept the Aliens - I've got 3 of the Membros - clear, radioactive and red.

The Palisades stuff was pretty poorly made as I recall. I actually had figures broken in the package. I ended up selling all of mine, too.

Mine had a lot of the 'melted rubber connector' thing with the arms so I opened them up and cut the rubber, sorted things out. A gold Acroyears arm broke the moment I bent the elbow and it was brand new out of its packet at the time! A Space Gliders leg was badly put together and had a gap in the metal thigh, yes loads of rubbish problems but l lucked out and sold them for a really good price on ebay to a buyer from the UK and he was really pleased with them.

Hit up a smaller toy show over the weekend that is just starting up (the second one they have had so far I believe) and picked up a few Micronauts. Got a Repto, Acroyear and a Rhodium Orbiter all loose complete for $20. The guy had a few other incomplete smaller vehicles for $5 each as well as some Time Travellers and Glider figs for $10 each, but I passed on those. It reminded me how much I had missed having these small shows around.

Oh no my post is gone. I was saying i never had any aliens, but wish i would have been at a show that had timetravelers and small vehicles for $10. I would have spent some cash that day.
