I apologize if this is in the wrong spot (the figs were made in 1990 so I thought they just made the cutoff) Anyone else have these. If so what do you think. I just won a complete set off ebay a few weeks ago and they came today. The line consists of 7 figs, and a couch/tv playset. The figs are Bart, Bartman, Nelson, Lisa, Maggie, Marge, and Homer These I think are pretty cool. I like them for there simplicity. Each of the figs has a thought balloon you can attach to the characters head with 5 different sayings each you change them up when you want to. They bring me back to a time before when toys had electronics galore. I also like them cause there are only 7 figs, unlike the figs today where there are who knows how many now. Anyone know of any variants on these figs (besides the save blinky prototype/mailaway thats super expensive). I ask because bart has a green shirt on the front of the card (drawing) and on back the fig they show of him has green, while the released fig has an orange shirt.

I used to have a Homer on card. I sold it off ages ago, and got ten times my original money out of it. They're cool allright, for simplicity's sake. They're real toys and not collector's items like the newer Simpson stuff is. Weren't these by Mattel?

They made 2 Ninja Barts black and white and I think a Superbart or something in Argentina. I have them somewhere. I think its the 3 barts just repainted. I do think they were legit and not KOs.

I have most of the family and Nelson. I really like the simplicity too and the size of them.

Yeah they were by mattel. Well I decided to open them. I figure they are cheap enough if I want to track down carded ones again its doable. Meaty- I would be interested in seeing those two Barts you have as I havent seen them before if you have pics I used to have a Homer on card.
