They were made by Revell way back in 1982 and were allot like the Silverhawks line from a few years later. There were less than a dozen figures in the line and a few vehicles. I am currently in the process of adding a Power Lords section on the main Website

Some of the monsters are pretty cool suck as Griptogg and Disguyzor. I don't know why the 2 human characters have such funny looking sculpts. These guys are just as tough to find as Blackstar figures but have not really hit the same popularity yet.

I love the Power Lords. I had Adam Power and a couple of others back in the day. Now all I have is piece of Adam left. I am gonna start recollecting this line soon.

The Power Lords vehicles are prety cool. If it wasn't overseas I would probably throw a bid in. Those British pounds really decimate the Canadian dollar.

They are on Ebay less & less these days. They either show up in small lots or MOC. Som of them are kinda fragile as well.

I see them alot in MOTU lots....but they are incomplete......and forget about finding the playset.

Naw, I don't like bidding against other board members unless in extreme cases. I have most of those figures (only need a few weapons) and just scored a MOC Shaya off Ebay for $5. Now that we both have 3/4s of a full collection, we can split any other large lots that come up . Here are the figures & weapons i still need: Parts & Accessories: Raygoth need gun Warbot need weapon & shield Figures: Back Attack (need figure only)

I decided to check out Ebay.uk and got it for the BIN of 2.99 pounds plus 2.00 pounds shipping. The last one that sold went for US$16 or something like that.
Yep, Volcan Rock will definately start a war when it shows ;D

Turnbolt, congrats on your vulcan rock playset. I saw this on eBay and might have been interested if it were more complete. As it is it would be impossible to find the missing parts I'll just keep hoping that a more complete one shows up some day, but the final price will no doubt be staggering.
oh yeah, I'm new here. This is my first post but there will definitely be more. For all of you obsessive toy geeks, add one more to your collective.

We'll thanks to Turnbolts help, I have managed to score a MIB Volcan Rock Playset. The box isn't sealed but everything else is. It was a few $$ but will be worth it. I don't want to get to excited until I get it in my hands!

Volcan Rock finally came in this week! I haven't had time to look over it in detail, but there are a hell of a lota parts to it. I was worried it would arrive ala "Blackstar Ice Castle" (in pieces) but the playset is one of the sturdiest I have seen. I will hopefully get some good pics of it up on the archive after I put it together and apply the stickers. Also got my MIB Power Ship in as well this week.

Hello guys, I am back for how long? Well that's anybodies guess. I started a new job so that takes alotta time. I am happy as I finally got a MIB Tri-gore. I did loose Adam Powers Power Ship. I'm slightly bitter about that. If anyone has a complete one, does not have to be MIB that that would want to part with LMK. Hey Turnbolt what do you have that ur thinking of selling, LMK Thanx Paul~

on the subject of power lords, i wanted to say that i think they stand out for the design and imagination they were visualy designed by Wayne Douglas Barlow he who did Barlows guide to extra terrestrials in the late 60s, they are inspiring to me as they are unique in all of toy history, many hate em, i love em!

I've had several Power Lords figures, and back in the day, virtually every one broke or cracked. Anyone else had this problem? They were produced by Remco, a company not known for action figures..

Correction, Power Lords were produced by Revell, a company more known for models. Most of mine are in good shape. I don;t think I ever had any real breakage with my figures. My childhood raygoth did have a dent in his chect when I bought him. The one I have now is perfect.

My Warbots hand broke off, and Ggripptoggs mace snapped. I don't think they were especially brittle, just maybe not as hard wearing as MOTU.

Yeah certain parts on these guys can break easy, Grippptog's club, Bakattak's feet and a few other joints on some other figures. Not sure if its the plastic itself or just that the place where it breaks is just to thin material wise.

My biggest problem with these figures so far has been with the horns of Arkus. I have had two loose ones that have been in decent shape come through my way and both had the right horn broken on them. I have had no problems with my Raygoth, Adam, Gripptogg, or Drrench (that is as far as I have gotten with them).

My original Adam Power literally lost his head when he fell from the shelf one day onto soft carpeting. I've had another for a few years now and have experienced no problems.

Holy crap I havent remembred the Power Lords toyline name until I saw a pic of two figures I had when I was a kid. I had that green skinned one with the claw hand and the beak head and that spiky looking monster with the club. All I have left is that club. Plus for that Blackstar I still have the pink demon. Man i wish I could get those figures to relive my childhood days

Im glad that sites like these bring back memories with pics of the figures. Man that Adam figure for the Power Lords was and still is creepy with his body looking like that. For the past 22 years of my life I never did remember the toyline and the figure that had the spiky red club but now Im amazed at how much i forgot who the figure was. Its that Gorgotth whatever figure where his face changes into two or three faces
