I just picked up a few of these loose at a flea market this weekend. Anyone collect these as well as the Star Trek III line from ERTL (I think only had 3 figures in that series). I have most of them except the harder to find aliens: Acturian Betelgeusian Klingon Megarite Rigellian Zaranite The Star Trek Motion Picture section on the archives can be found at www.action-figures.ca/star_trek_motion_picture.htm

I just started to collect these. I bid on a lot of the bridge crew on ebay. The bridge playset for these looks really cool to. Star Trek 3 had 4 figures Kirk Scotty Spock Klingon Commander
I think that I will try to collect all of the 3 3/4 inch star trek figures.

for the next gen they could have made a lot more aliens, for star trek 3 a genaric Klingon would have been awsome, Sarek, David Marcus, plus some really cool playsets like genisis planet.

Wel l my Star Trek 3 figures arrived a few days ago and I will need to buy a new Scotty figure as I cant repair it other than gluing it together. Cool figures though, now I just need to complete my Motion Picture figures and start on the Galoob line.

I originaly bought a megarite when I was little at a garage sale in Calgary because I thought that he was a Cantina Band star wars figure. The capes for these figures are impossible to find as they are very fragile.

ST:The Original Series would've also made for a great 3 3/4" line had Mego gone that direction, IMO. The most recent issue of Toyfare featured a ST photo price guide. The ST 3 Klingon Commander was supposed to be Christopher Lloyd's character, IIRC. That figure was pictured in the price guide. Interesting articulation. I had the 3 3/4" Scotty when I was younger, but I'm not sure where he's at. Spock is displayed on my desk alongside the "The Black Hole" & "Dukes Of Hazzard" figures. He's been getting a little annoyed with Boss Hogg.

Most are hardly seen in the movie, it sure helps!
As a Canadian dude, I had a bunch of these Alien as a kid, I had all got them from bargain bin. I still got two, and managed to find back the remaining as I still had Ilia and Scotty. I also have a Scotty MOC, these card are awesome!

I found a complete humanoid along with several aliens from this line at the flea markey this weekend, the guy thought they were all Star Trek...I managed to get 24 figures for 45 bucks...there were several figures from from buck rogers, star trek and black hole! Now I just need three to complete the Star Trek line...and I have several now that the archive needs pictures of...sore of the year for me!!

Ya I was in shock. My budy walked right by them without a second glance (he is used to finding nothing). I snapped the Humanoid right up...then asked what he wanted for it...it was stiff and mint, package fresh. He said 3...I thought he emnt 300 bucks which is what it is worth. Then he said that if I bought several he would sell them at 2 dollars and 50 cents each. I almost fell over! After about 15 minutes of wheeling and dealing I got: Tigerman Ardella Draco x2 Draconian Guard Killer Kane x2 Wilma Deering Arcturian Ilia Klingon McCoy Rigellian Scotty Spock Zaranite Alex Durant Charlie Pizer Hans Reinhart Harry Booth Sentry S.T.A.R. and the find of the year for me Humanoid I paid 45 for the lot...and was in lala land all day...er week!

Ooops alot of toy geek is going to come out here... ;D I have been involved in several ongoing conversations about what is a 'complete' Humanoid. When I got one as a kid he did not come with boots. I never saw any boots or heard of anything like that until I saw repo ones on ebay. Ever since then I have seen alot of loose humanoid with boots. Out of the three carded ones I have seen I have never seen one issued with boots...so IMHO I think they do not come with boots.... The one I just got was package fresh and minty, so were all the other figures in this deal. you know the type hard to even move their limbs. This guy/seller bought them but never played with them, he said he put them in a shoe box 30 years ago or so. Becuase his did not come with boots I think, again, that the boots did not come with the Humaniod...or at the very least they were not included with all of them. On a side note the figure would have come with 3 accessories...more than any other Mego action figure...again not something that makes sense especially when Star and the Sentry came with two belt holsters but only one gun? ?

Humanoid pics would be good But also S.T.A.R. as I always thought that'd be a cool figure as a kid (we never got the 2nd wave here so I made my own S.T.A.R. and Old B.O.B.) Darn it, you got Tigerman as well, I always wanted one of those. Must add him to my list Wonder if the guy will ever find out what they were actually worth ;D when Star and the Sentry came with two belt holsters but only one gun? ? Used to bug the hell out of me that the gun wouldn't fit the hands

or that the gun was nothing like the one in the movie...why make a gun that does not fit into their hands and is completely different than the movie one...did it come with someone else and was simply a reissue? And why only one when they can hold two in their belt?

Yeah, the 'wrong gun' thing bugged me as well. I've never seen that gun with anything else but it could be an explaination.
I always assumed that S.T.A.R. would have come with a second gun and that was why there were two holsters.

I have talked to this vendor twice since then and he says he has found a few other Star Trek figures that he had. I am hoping they are the aliens I need and not Decker and Kirk that were missing from the assortment.

Here's the ol' Klingon and Zaranite. The paint rubs off the Klingon's eyebrows and chin easily.

Spockoda, the SW capes on the Trek Aliens look pretty good, the Betelgeusian has Kenobi's cape, did you just color it with a marker or is it Lando's cape?

I found a deker at my local salvation army. I think I paid 19 cents, or maybe I pocketed it. It was lying on the floor with no price tag on it.

The cape on the Betelgeusian is supposed to be a repro Obi Wan cape but it's not a very good repro because it is a darker brown. The Megarite has a repro Darth Vader cape. I didn't do any coloring to either.

The obi-wan repro cape looks to suit the figure well, looks quite grey to me, though I think I am partially color blind . Could just be the background colors and lighting though.

Finally completed this line a few months ago with a complete Megarite I came across at a colectible store In Edmonton. They sure made his cape cheap, as it frays quite easily. Anyone have a MOC one, curious to know if packaged figures have any fraying to the capes?

I picked up the ERTL Kirk and Klingon Commander at a convention when I was a kid. They're pretty cheaply made, (my Kirk broke) but man did I love that Klingon and his ugly dog! The only 3 3/4 Mego Star Trek I have is the Klingon MOC, (paid $60 on ebay). I got him AFA graded and he looks great, and it's the first Klingon figure to sport ridges on his head!

For me personally the most rarest of the figures loose & carded has to be Rigellion. I have only ever seen this once on ebay (in the last 3 years) loose (and I brought it) and never seen it for sale carded. The bridge playset is also quite rare - only seen this for sale twice in the last year and mostly in bad condition - battered with stickers. Flipper
