so i recently won these in an incredibly poorly labeled lot on ebay. i got it with plans to resell the Astral Moat Monster, but it's just so cool and i got it all so cheap i will probably keep it. anyway, it came with this custom painted Moat Monster, that has a few quirks that i thought were interesting enough to share on here. the paint job is REALLY well done, but is definitely home-made. the first odd thing is that instead of wings, there are two pointy rubber nubs: the strangest thing of all are the arms! what toy are they originally from? they're pretty soft rubber. the third thing is that it's significantly taller than the Astral Moat Monster. it's a bit hard to tell in this pic, but here's a side-by-side what i want to know is were there any moat monster bootlegs or knockoffs produced that this could be a repaint of, or were the new arms just added by the same person who painted it? whatever the answer, i think it's a pretty cool and unique piece!

They did do a Playful one in Argentina . The feet will be made a little different but its actually taller . The feet look more under the one making it look a little shorter maybe ?

I'm 99% certain the arms are from a purple monster from The Real Ghostbusters toys.
