The only ones I had growing up were the orange dirt biker guys and some of the animals. I got a set with 2 guys and a green dirt bike and I believe a sidecart. The one orange guy was one of my all time favorite figures. I played with him so much ALL of his joints were loose as a goose. A plastic pin in one of his knees broke once so I put one of those red bread tie things through the joint and Voila, good as new. I played with him like that for years. Recently I got a couple of them at a shop for real cheap and they cleaned up nice. These toys have got that 70s thing going on to be sure. What are the guys with the visors? Race car drivers? Heres the guys I used to have and now have again, sans the cool bike: farm8.staticflickr.com/7139/6855697044_c4364daed6_z.jpg

It was one of the first sets i had as well: A cool classic and man could these toys take a beating and never brake...unlike anything else in any 3 3/4...

I've got a handful - I tend to keep them when I get batches of stuff. I think my favorite part is that the vehicles are some of the sturdiest around - good plastic and good manufacture.

It was one of the first sets i had as well: I'm envious! Look how perfectly that driver sits on his bike, looks so natural. Yup, that's the set I got from my babysitter for my birthday when I was like 5 or so, good stuff.

The later aliens were very cool. i guess with all the black hole, star wars, battle star galactica and micronauts lines producing aliens and robots these guys followed suit? or was it the other way round?

I had a few of these figures and for some reason most of them had bad neck joints, the head would fall forward and not stay up, I'd have to take their head in place. Anyone else have that problem?

Yea but only with the guy I played with constantly. You could balance it up if you were just trying to pose him. It's actually a disease of action figures that this line is particularly susceptible to. You can read about it in this thread: actionfiguresca.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Tips&action=display&thread=10685

I always loved the Turbo Hawk, the blue jet. I remember playing with the motorcycle guys a lot, as well as (sadly) the collie. I guess she was a good generic dog to use with other toy lines, kind of like The Wrangler's dog. Oh, and I also seem to remember Adventure People heads not staying up very well after a decent amount of play. Attachments:

i love the adventure people line, it has also got to be the most rugged indestructable 3 3/4" toy line ever. like many people my favorites are the space guys. heres my opticon, clawtron, brainoid, xray man and women and firestar pilot. i also love these 2 from the tv action team. i call them archie bunker and crazy cat lady.
