Hey all i just scored 2 very cool items from a dealer in New Jersey that has become the exclusive broker of a huge Thundercats collection from a former LJN employee. Below is a Feliner art work proof and the actual picture of the Thunderstrike that was used on the 1987 LJN Dealer Catalog. We will cover this collection over the next few months over at ThunderCatsLair.org so swing on by and check out the latest

Very, very cool! I'm a bit jealous of that photo from the 87 catalogue.

Nice score mate. From HH i take it? Yeah i got it from them, hefty price i must say but rather unique items. I got lucky this weekend too and scored a really nice Cat's Lair box to go with my loose Cat's Lair. All for a few loose Thundercats and a carded Mumm-ra. They are hard to come by, so as it stands now my collection is entirely Near Mint/Mint in Box

I'm hoping for the protot's as well but to tell you the truth in order to afford them I may just have to unload some of my figures. Perhaps a complete set of MOC 8 backs. I figured out already and I only need 15 items and I will have a complete Thundercats collection spanning over 60 items. I think though that it will take me a long while before i even complete it since a Luna Lasher Mumm-Ra alone could cost me over $1,000 If the Berserkers do show up I will go for the kill on at least one of them

Congratulations on two extremely nice additions, Manny. When I first saw these, you name immediately popped into my head as someone I hoped the Feliner proof might go to.

Congratulations on two extremely nice additions, Manny. When I first saw these, you name immediately popped into my head as someone I hoped the Feliner proof might go to. -Mike Mensinger Thanks...It seems like a lot of these rare pieces always end up in some private collector's hands and stored away for the owner's eyes only. I never understood the concept of a private collection. I think by now everyone's come to realize that any unique items i will show it off not to boast about how many rare pieces i own or how big my collection may be but I find it satisfying knowing that people do appreciate these kind of things, that people do as myself love to look at collections and their unique story, etc. As lng as i collect Thundercats which will be forever, I will not keep items in private because i know some people are not too fortunate to ever see some items. If i ever get my hands on any prototypes you all will know first hand...there's no need to keep things private in the collecting community
