I'm not sure if I'm saying this right but here goes... What is your feedback on toylines and how they hold up over the years and repair? I dislike he-man (my fav toyline.. sobb) because i find the condition of the rubber band in the legs is hit and miss and you can't repair this unless you just want your figure for display. And i love G.I.Joe because from figure to vehicles you can repair without compromising the quality of the toy. The figures unscrew and the vehicles come with blueprints and already come in pieces!

I'd say vintage Star Wars holds up best without need for repair. The less there is to break or loosen, the longer they'll hold up.

Star Wars, Star Trek, and TMNT hold up the best in my collection.
Super Powers -- The special abilities are hit and miss. They often stop working over time.
Marvel Super Heroes (1990s) -- Paint rubs off far too easily. I think the plastic they used was too smooth.
G.I. Joe -- Rubber bands snap easily. I don't have the patience to unscrew them and replace.
MOTU -- I've only had one rubber band snap, but it was enough to seriously piss me off.
Starcom -- Spring Loaded features definitely whither down over time.
Bionic Six -- The absolute worst. Paint chips away with the slightest impact. Joints easily shatter upon impact, as well.

Thundercats battle-matic action can also goes to pot a lot, along with the light-up eyes. Try this for a MOTU leg fix, I've done it about 10 times. Works great except for Man-E-Faces. he-man.us/Innovations/BrokenLegs.htmlI can tell you what size parts to use, too.

Forgot to mention that rubber treads on any old toy (especially a Thundertank) fall apart without warning. They seem fine one day, then split in half the next. From what I understand, dryness and UV lighting can exacerbate this problem, but it tends to happen regardless of how careful you are.

My A-team guys are pretty worn down. The leg joints don't hold a position very well. My April and Murdocks need to lean againt the wall in order to stand up.

My Defenders of the Earth have a problem with easy paint scuffing. Just dropped Lothar while putting him on a new shelf and now he has a mark on his head! Wouldn't be the end of the world, except he does not even have any hair to hide it. Same thing with Phantom, easily scratched paint. Oh well, they are just toys!
Same problem here with the A-team guys falling over.
