I coulda swore we had this list on here before. That Richard Roundtree err Slade figure is great. The Paco Mortal Kombat rip offs are a personal favorite as well. One of those Mr. Rock figures popped up last year on ebay & went for some decent bread. If it's on ebay, it seems like people are always more willing to ante up.

I took a copyright class about a year ago and that Ideal Darth Vader is a pretty famous case. Ideal won. The ruling of the case was that there was no actual copying done (i.e. recasting, tracing, stealing design drawings), the two figures were not similar enough, and that Lucas is not the only one with rights to a figure that is a dark villan with a cape and mask (as those were the only similarities and crude ones at that).
The Lincolon Mr. Rock is a raver.

I HAD that Yung Kung Fu MIP I got off a poorly marked ebay, but I don't think anyone else knew what it was because I tried to re-sell it under the name and no one bit. Wound up selling it in a lot or something.
Stupid ebay.

Oh man do I love knock-offs. I must take photos of the ones we have here in South Africa. What's really great is the packaging. I've seen Harrison Ford and Vigo Mortissons likeness on quite a few items which I doubt they are getting royalties from.
