What are your best figure finds. Not buying at a store but actually finding one in a strange place. I have several.
I once got on a bus, went to the back and sat down only to feel something poking my butt cheek, i move, look down to see a Crimson Guard figure on the seat.
I once found a Hot Rod transformer in a drain.
I once found Hoove from the New Adventures of Hem-man in another drain
Found a Raphael from TMNT movie figure at the side of the road about a month ago
Found a Donatello from the first line-up in a stream about 10 years ago
Found a Chap Mei soldier in the road, one leg was scuffed badly and his body was cracked
Foung a Boglin outside an apartment building near where i went to high school
There are probably more but those ones stick out as great finds that i played with a lot. Nothing better than finding a toy for free. What i don't get is how a kid can lose a toy like that.

Wow,you have a lot more luck just going along and finding toys than I do. Does a store's trash count? I remember years ago my local Duckwall's store threw out a vintage ESB carded Hoth Han Solo because something was wrong with the figure inside the package. I can't remember what was wrong with it but a guy I went to school with must have went through the store's trash as he brought it to my attention.

This was not all at once but over many years. I guess i was just in the right place at the right time. I once saw a GI Joe with a parachute stuck in a tree overhanging the river. Couldn't get it though as there was no way to scale the tree and retrieve it. The opposite bank was about twenty meters away from the tree so i couldn't get it from the opposite side either. Yeah the last one i found was a Raphael from TMNT movie line without acesories by the side of the road. I was cycling along when it caught my eye. I screeched the brakes, backed up and put it in my bag. (I was on my way to work) I've seen loads of hot wheels in the street over the years too but i never played with cars much, usually only figures for me. Has been a nice haul over the years though

A distant relative found a vintage 12 inch C3P0 at one of his local parks way back when the toy was relatively new. Both feet had a chunk missing but last thing I knew(which has been quite some time ago)he still had it.

I found a Vintage GI Joe, Rock N' Roll in a creek. That was back in 84 though so he wasn't all that vintage when I found him.

I found a box with some stray Lego parts and vintage Star Wars weapons in the trash once.
