I had this back in the 80's (I even remember it in the trash when my mother threw it out). It was the Optimus Prime vs Megatron Rock em Sock em Robots by Hasbro. Did anyone else have this toy? I've yet to see even a picture of it on the internet!! I got it at Toys R Us and it can't be that rare (I remember the stacked boxes).
It seems to be a "Missing in Action" toy that no one has seen. Someone here has to remember it or have a picture of it!!
Help a brother out!

Yeah I got the TF Rock 'em Sock 'ems for x-mas '85. My cousin broke one of the ring posts later that afternoon and I still give him crap about it. I have a pic of it in an old x-mas catalog somewhere. Let me poke around and see if I can find it, then I'll post a scan. Those things were a blast. I'm pretty sure they ended up at a second hand store.

I got one buried in my closet. I'll try to dig it up and snap a few pics for you when I get a chance.

Here's a shot of the box. There's nothing different on the sides or back, the front shot is really as good as it gets. I would have taken it out and put it together, but it's a royal pain to put together and take apart

That's friggin awesome!! Now I'm remembering it better. Who is the company that made this and what is the date on it? 1987? 1988?

The date stamp is kinda hard to make out on the back, I'm pretty sure it says 1985. Made by Hasbro and Durham Industries.
