What about He-Man (Masters of the Universe) and Optimus Prime (Transformers)? Each of them have so many variants we don't know which one to choose!

Spider-Man or Batman. They never go more than a few years without new figures

Batman had the most merchandising worldwide in the 80s at one point, but I'm seeing a lot more spider-man on shelves in recent years, it would have to be outta' these two...

Batman, to the point of overkill and overstauration with some of the mid 90's Kenner lines. We don't need a line with 50 different Batman armors and 2 bad guys. (at least I dont)

There are also Pixar Cars I see everywhere. They are so commonly seen in stores they begin to haunt my nightmares...

It's strange that those Kenner Batman lines had so few bad guys, when Batman has such a GREAT rouges gallery...

I'll chime in with Batman. He's currently all over toy ailses everywhere, with The Fisher Price Imaginext line and the DC Super Heroes line ...Also currently you have the Arkham Asylum + City Video game figure lines, and this summer when the Dark Knight Rises movie comes out....All toy aisles will turn into retail batcaves.
I'm not complaining mind you... My eight year old son and I agree. Of all the Super Heroes...Batman rules! (and all his associated characters in the vast storyline)
