What kind of toy lines would you like to see made, that aren't being made now? I would personally like to see more lines that aren't based on a video game, movie,tv series, book,or comic book. I realize there wouldn't be enough money in it nowadays but I would like to see more I guess you could say historical figures, like roman gladiators.etc. A "Legends Of The West" type of 3 3/4" inch line would be interesting with the improvements in sculpting a line like that could be alot better than Empire's back in the late 70s. I see some figures based on mythology at Target stores. Although the figures kinda suck in my opinion, that sort of line is what I'm talking about. Chap Mei makes some lines like what I'm talking about but sometimes the paint jobs on their figures are a bit suspect.

I would like to see figures based on novels and their characters. I know you said not in books but these books are screaming out for figures.
Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson and Moriarty.
War of the Worlds.
Drizzt Do'Urden and the Companions from R.A. Salvatore's books.
Frankenstein, Dracula and the other horror classics but based on their book versions.

Well, there are a few figures I wouldn't mind seeing from movies, such as Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi from some of their non-monster movies as well as a decent Vincent Price and maybe a Humphrey Bogart.

Yes i do like older films as well as new ones but the acting and story were what carried older films rather than sfx and cgi.
Here's some to check out that are really good.
When Worlds Collide War of the Worlds (Both this and the film above are by George Pal) The Thing from another World Creature from the Black Lagoon
I too am a huge fan of the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films but the transfer to DVD makes them really bad, the picture is blurry and the sound is quite bad. If they could somehow clean them up a bit like they did with the Universal Monster films.

I like a lot of old horror movies and film noir type of movies. One of my favorite Vincent Price movies is one where he was more of a supporting player than the major star,"Laura". I also like "House On Haunted Hill" and "The Tingler",some of Price's more fun movies. I also like the films he did with Roger Corman, the Poe adaptation films.

I'm guessing these have probably been made at some point and I've just never seen them, but it would be nice to have a "dog" collection of figures where each breed could be represented (not just the popular ones) and maybe even a few mixes. Since I'm an avid fisherman I'd like to see a few fish "figures" as well featuring some of the species I fish for in the gulf. They could do them in a relative scale, something like a large tuna or tarpon could be about 5 inches long while a whale could be relative to that, maybe 25 or 30 inches and could be sold like a playset in a large box. Smaller fish like sardines could be packaged along with bigger fish, similar to the way facehuggers were packaged with aliens figures.

That idea reminds me of Kenner's Duke action figure. Duke was a dog action figure that had a couple of playsets made for him in the 70s but I guess it didn't go over. I think it was a cool idea, though, and I would like to get the Duke figure someday.

i have wished for years they would make a 3 3/4 line of rockstars. i know people will laugh i would actually like to see a duran duran line.im a big new wave fan and would love early versions of duran,i find it amazing that at their peak in the 80s that someone didnt make a duran line for the young ladies to play with.
also the 80s era misfits would be really cool.im actually trying to make a custom danzig jerry and doyle myself right now.

In a "rock stars vein" I would love to see Metalacolypse (the Adult Swim toon) made into 3 3/4 figures. With their lair as a playset etc...

Personally I would like to see some figures based on History in general. Greek Mythology would be awesome. Also some figures from the movies The adventures of Baron Manchausen, as well as Figures from the story of King Arthur withthe figures like the green knight, parcival, the lady in the lake etc etc. Those would be awesome!!!! For those of you who do not know the story of Gawain and The Green Knight (Gawain is King Arthurs nephew and a Knight of the Round Table) www.kingarthursknights.com/others/greenknight.asp

BBI makes some pretty cool ones for King Arthur if you are into toys like schleich and papo.
I would honestly like to see a flushed out aquatic theme/atlantis theme. Take the Tigersharks vibe and go one step further.

I would love to see generic 3 3/4 inch Sword & Sorcery (fantasy) style figures with the articulation and accessory level of GI Joes...with monsters and such to go with them. I love the Chap Mei stuff, but always loved higher articulation.
I'd also love to see a nice generic superhero line in the same vein. With all the comic book movies out, I'm surprised we haven't seen any! Naturally, a cool playset or two...a hero headquarters, a villain lair, even a small cityscape with breakaway buildings and props!
Anybody wanna help me start a cheap-o toy company? I suck at math, business and numbers...I just need someone to do all the legal crap!

Toys that I want to see made: 1. new M.A.S.K. toys. The toy vehicles should resemble today's vehicles 2. more TMNT toys that mutate 3. Transformers Masterpiece figures of G1 characters that weren't picked yet

Any updated figure line from the 80's done in 3 3/4 would be great, especially ones that were never released in that scale before, ex. Voltron, Vehicle Voltron, M.A.S.K. etc..

I think a Warhammer 40, 000 or/and Warhammer Fantasy Battle action figure line would be awsome. The human and human sized races could be in the same scale as Visionaries and then you could have huge monsters, aliens (Tyranids), dragons etc- but some people will think it's too geeky.

You stole one of my ideas! OK, so I'll dream of another. What about a toy line featuring obscure fantasy creatures? I mean, not the overseen unicorn, mermaid and european dragon, but fantasy creatures like a Qi-Lin (China), a Yara-Mah-Ya-Whoo (Aboriginal Australia), a Kappa (Japan), a Yale (Heraldic England), a Tarasque (France), a Criosphynx (Egypt), a Nue (Japan), a Manticore (Persia), a Pixiu (China), a Bunyip (Aboriginal Australia)?
