Which in your opinion is the easiest line to collect. I seem to see TMNT, Ghostbusters & He-man, more than other toy lines at flea markets/yard sales. These also seem to be the cheapest to acquire. I can usually find a box of TMNT for about 20 bucks. Now, I know power rangers are abundant, but i'm talking pre-90's lines. Thoughts. Spank

He-Mans are everywhere, but always no accessories. I never see that many turtles.

I have managed to find TMNT & accessories at almost every flea market I go to. There is usually one. He-man I always find figs, but almost never with accessories. thanks for the thoughts, though. Spank

MOTU and TMNT are both big series and they both have real 'gems' that are going to be a pain to find. Mostly the latter figures from the series. I don't know that much about Ghostbussters, but I don't think it had really tough figures to find, not like MOTU and TMNT have. Same with vintage Star Wars and Joe. Oh, there's enough of it allright, and every show you go to will have some figs. But the real tough stuff will always be missing fromyour collection unless you trade, ebay, or get damn lucky.

The Ecto Glow figures are the tougher ones to find from Ghostbusters, though you can pick up MOC figures for around $30 each on Ebay.

Agreed, but that doesn't hold a candle to trying to find a complete Scare Glow, Randor, Eternia, Twistoid, or Tytus/Megator and the likes... In that sense, I would argue that Ghostbusters is way easier to complete than MOTU is..

Nope, I agree, just stating the tougher ones from the Ghostbusters line. Theres usually always a set available to buy on Ebay either as a BIN or on auction.
An easy pre 1990s figure line to collect would have to be Sectaurs. There aren't really any hard to find figures, just can be tough to find a few of the insect companions with intact wings.

Mork & Mindy has to be the easiest line. There's only one figure and one vehicle and they come packaged together. Clash of the Titans is easy. Secret Wars if you throw out the three European releases. Fisher Price Adventure People aren't too bad. There's quite a few.

How bout if you phrase the question like this: If you had only one week on ebay and a fair (nowhere near unlimited) amount of money to spend, which pre-90's toy line could you 100% complete (domestic release) in a week?
I would guess Star Wars would be easy to do. Probably he-man too, though rotar and twistoid are not always available. I'd say TMNT and Gijoe would be out of reach in one week, too many figures to track down.

It's strange, Rotar and Twistoid were EVERYWHERE a few years back. I remember them dropping under $30 for carded examples at one point. However, the Tytus and Megator are crazy hard to find.
I'd say the easiest series aside from Sectaurs is probably Bravestarr, but again you'd have to find 30/30 which is a challenge. On the flip side, what's the hardest mainstream line?
I'd shoot a vote for Crystar or Blackstar.

I seem to have no problem finding blackstar figs, but I never find weapons or accessories. I have never found Crystar, I guess Ebay is the only place to get them.
