What is in your opinion the hardest line to collect? either common or uncommon. Pretty curious about this, i'm currently collecting the marvel and dc figures from the 80's and 90's and i know of a few rare figures, but that's about it.

Every line has its hard figures. For 80`s I just don`t know if there is one that stands out. For 90`s I would go with Mummies Alive, the second series stuff is so hard to get.

From the 80s, there are quite a few. Some of them the figures of the lines aren't hard to find, it's the vehicles, playsets, and deluxe figures. Dragonriders Of The Styx comes to mind right away, but I can also think of several others.

Tigersharks come to mind if your considering an entire line as a whole. Fairly expensive and hard to find most of the figures. Galaxy Rangers is also up there.

Yeah Galaxy Rangers is a really tough one. Especially as every time you dearch for them on fleabay you get 100`s of power rangers

The vauge and not-so-popular lines are one thing, but I've always thought that the biggest hurdle to completing a line is price and size (of the line).
That being true, Transformers would have to be up there. I know a guy who has just about every G1 toy and it has taken him 15 years+ and an amount of money he is too scared to add up! And he's still not 100% finished!
Sure, Transformers are popular, but because of this, the hard-to-find items fetch massive prices. Struggling to find rare item is tough enough, but I reckon it's worse when you find that elusive piece, only to realise there's no way you can afford it!

in general, i think that most lines, especially 80's have a harder time with any series past the first. There's always a boom and overstock u can find a dime a dozen of nearly anything wave 1, then wave 2 or 3 seem to be like 10% of the previous production available. also, i have been working on a time machine so send me ur payments and toy lists to complete ur collections! lol

I think the key to any 80`s toy line is the first and last waves. The first are usually the key characters and have been beaten to hell by the kids and the last were always shipped in small qunatities.

well i only collect 3 3/4 lines but the couple i have had the hardest time with have been dragonriders of the styx and a line called bible greats from the 90s. there are other more expensive and bigger lines but these are just hard to even find.theres only 1 dragonrider figure left that i want and it just never seems to come up lately.
