Some of the Playmobil Victorian dolls house stuff is pretty cool. I've always considered Playmobil to be a somewhat sexless toy but I guess the pink boxes for the Victorian sets hint towards girls. Aside from the Victorian collection and some of the fantasy stuff, I've always considered PM to be a sexless toy as well. I'm good friends with a PM collector that has every set made since the late 80's. I'm not kidding . I suppose if I were to collect a girls line it would be the modern Barbie superhero figures. In the last few years they've issued a Batgirl Barbie, Supergirl Barbie, and Wonder Woman Barbie to name a few. I don't have them, but if I saw them at a toy show for a few bucks each I'd buy them . -Timothy

I'd kinda like to get the scooby -doo barbie set from like 5 years ago, but given how creepy I felt getting the best of she-ra dvd, I doubt I will. I had to get it. It had "secrect of the sword". Maybe I have issues I haven't uncovered.

I passed up a Harley Quinn barbie type doll I saw once on clearance and always kind of regretted it. I love the visual design on Miss Quinn.

When i was a kid there was 2 lines i wanted to buy but being a boy i did not want any abuse from my firends. The first is She-ra, there is some awesome villains in that line. The other is something like Golden Girls or something like that, they were similar to She-Ra, sort of fantasy figures but it was mostly female characters. I'll be damned if i can't think of the name of them. My fave female figure of all time is Baroness, the original. Looking at her now and what she wore, holy crap is she damn fine.

That was the best figure out of that line Spock, I agree! I had the whole line of figures and the triphibian vehicle from the Playmates Flash Gordon line as they were still available as peg warmer fodder at KB Toy stores back in '97. I decided I really didn't like the "teenie" approach to Flash Gordon,so I sold them all.

Me and my Woman both collect toys so we always keep an eye out for each other and in the process i have stole a couple for my collection (heh heh) especially the Bionic Woman the whole line is pretty cool not to mention she-ra and charlies angels!!!! And one thing i have noticed through out the years is for adding to our collections the ratio is like 10-1 for me!!!! we always find boys toys at flea markets, conventions, yard sales etc but the girls toys are few and far between!!!!! almost makes me feel bad....... almost! (sorry honey)

Jamie Sommers Dinah-Mite(Mego) Daring Derry(Evel Knievel's counterpart)
I would've caught alot of slack for these back in my younger days, but now as an adult, they're just damned cool.

Mattel's 1985 Princess of Power toyline(the female version of He-man) is one heck of a toyline for girls even with their rooted hair and pink combs.

Hi - Thinking about when I was growing up during the 80s' and what my Sister had in comparison to my toys - she had all the female versions of my toys such as Princess Leia and even the Ewoks (because she thought they were cuddly). Her other toys were My Little Pony, Carebears, Sindy, Barbie & Gem (does anyone remember her? She was a pop singer doll). Nowdays, my Sister collects nothing whereas my Wife collects Me to you figurines - not sure if you get these in the US? Flipper
