I was finally able to get a start at collecting the old Marx figures again today. I've been holding off buying a collection of Marx figures (Johnny and Jane West, Sam Cobra, Geronimo and Chief and I think Jay Cdn version) at a local flea market mainly due to lack of money. I usually go to this flea market every other weekend and this guy always has his figures on display for sale, and with me with not enough money - I think it is some kind of self imposed torture that I have to go look at the stuff. I went today and everything was gone! When I asked the guy about them, he said he had packed it up to sell on ebay. Fortunately, he still had the stuff there and was willing to sell it to me. I've been agonozing over buying the lot for weeks and now I can finally sleep at night. I seem to have a few extra accessories so I will make up a list and put it in the marketplace if anyone is interested.

Good to hear you were able to raise the cash and pick them up, was it a pretty good deal? I have some spare parts for Princess Wildflower if you ever need them. Right now I am looking for the actual Princess Wildflower figure and a few other accessories for some other figures & horses.
It is a pretty cool line (any figures from the 60s are awesome). It is pretty tought to find them outside of Ebay in good condition (there 40 years old!). I currently own the Buffalo, 3 horses, Johnny West, the corel, and a few others whose names escape me at the moment.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool line of figures. The only thing about them is that they are hard to complete - took me 3 years for my previous Johnny West (26 accessories in all). Also, the hands are hard to replace (usually damaged or missing) but I know a site which sells vintage hands.
I sent you an email re: Geronimo and some extra accessories. LMK if you didn't receive it and I will re-email you.

I was at an antique show over the weekend and a guy had a box of bare JW figures between $15-$25 each. He had bags of accessories for $3 each and up. I was thinking of trying to make a few complete figures but didn't know what accs. went with what figures so I passed.
