You're right, it's easier with Skeletor, his eyes and hand light up. Hard to say what it's worth but lose ones usually go for 50-60 Euro on German ebay, so that's about $75. Thanks, Mate Not bad at all for a mostly incomplete figure!

Is there a difference between the classic head figure and the smaller head version in terms of price?

I think the 'classic-head' has more appeal to most collectors, guy I know has one and was real proud of the classic aspect. Price wise, I couldn't say. I personally would want to shell out less clams for small-head.

I wonder what the story was behind the change in design. Did they initially go with the classic head, and then transfer to the new age look? It almost looks like it's the perfect gap between classic MOTU and the New Adventures designs. I wonder if they had plans to do any other characters in this format. I really think it would have been a hit if they had released a full line up of light-action figures worldwide.

End of He-man's hey-days really weren't it? Maybe Mattel couldn't have balanced the cost of more laser-light characters. Yes, it does cover that new adventures gap smoothly. It's pretty interesting stuff... I wonder what sorta' price tag the LLs were sporting compared to standard figures at the time.

Sometimes I find the concept and design stages of a toyline even more interesting then the toys themselves. I would like to have been a fly on the wall in He-man's final days to see the possible directions they were going to take. I need to get my hands on one of those artbooks that came out a year or two back.

I believe it was released at the tale end of 2010, but it could have been 2011 also. I think was 150 when it came out, but I may be mistake. It may have been only available at something like SDCC also. I think they come around on ebay from time to time, but I dont know whether the price has gone up or not.

They were $50 or $60 at release but like most SDCC exclusives, they mostly got bought up by all the scalpers. I was lucky enough to get one from a friend but was really disappointed with it. It's a glorified pamphlet and not worth the retail price, let alone what they fetch online. I ended up selling mine in hopes for a better, more detailed release but nothing has come yet.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner sf1378. I filed a report with eBay and was sent a refund through PayPal. They made me wait until the auction was ended for 30 days to give the seller time to contact me and try to fix the situation first. It was a frustrating situation but all is good now. I have been checking on that seller every once in a while and haven't noticed any new items for sale. He will probably just open a new account and try again.

I always go loose with accessories. prefer to be able to display the figure somewhere than have them sealed and hidden away lol
