Instead of a rubber band holding the legs together these guys have "T ball joint" holders like the Remco figures. A late, late eighties or early 90's release, prob early 90's release. Notice the green wolf head with darker green body? Two different "huk" variant figures and the painted head that was in the Turly-gang! Very cool! [/img]

Do we know all the variants and characters made for this set? I am at a loss trying to figure out all of them from the other Galaxy lines.

...hrmmmm...so all those guys have the ol' ball jointed hips? Wow, never came across most of those characters with said articulation type...nice to know! I notice the armored up Huk has the long, skinny arms too. I had seen that red-bodied Tiger man many a times...always assumed it could be just a head swap, but then again, with these guys...anything's possible. Also, the frequency you start to see 'em at kinda confirms it anyway.
Also, is it me or are the undies on the armored Huk a different sculpt as well?

I think you're only missing the magnon, spikes and the black bodied yggg The turly repaint is a suspected one since it does not appear on the cardback of the line And TKOM once pointed me to a picture of a freedom fighters baltard moc with banded legs, so not all are balled jointed but that is the easiest way to distinguish them. When a figure is marked sungold on the leg it for sure is a galaxy warrior other ways to tell them a part the freedom fighters tend to have different head sculpts a bit smaller and some obviously have different paint schemes These figures can be found on at least two different card styles one with sungold mentionned on it and one without

Are all your figures marked sungold on the back? The long arm styled one that i have is not. I believe those to be from the 90's for sure. The normal arm styled ones can be late 80's but probably also 90's For everybody out there that wonders what their names are they are named exactly the same as their galaxy warriors counter parts only the repainted turly is still a mystery to me

oh wait you're missing the dragoon variant too That has the same small head as a turly dragenius but the green pants of a original galaxy warrior there are 12 confirmed characters in total EDIT: and here's the proof from my personal collection:

Here is what I think is the 2nd release maybe US version or a later version of the figures. Because of the "CE" that started showing up on the 90's toys. Kinda looks like he might have rubberband legs? Maybe not. [/img] I thought #3 and #4 were Turly-gang figures but, they have the "T" ball joint holders! THe green wolf is on the cardback so we know that one. No rubber bands man! The skinny arm style was on the 1st version of the card, they came with both types of arms depending on what country you got them from. These all say Sungold on them and match my Sungold freedom fighters cardback I have. These are not Galaxy warriors versions. I pretty much have all the Sungold Galaxy Warriors color, small and big heads versions. I think these were an excuse to release these figures one more time but, on the Freedom Fighters card. Until, galaxy warriors End of time the last battle with all different characters and sculpts!

i thought it was the other way around witht the cards
so normal arm style = release 1 These have CE with a sticker. I've seen these in Europe.
Other arm style (Frazetta) is release 2 these cards have CE printed on them which makes me believe they are younger

I can see by just looking at them that they are FF If this was about some of my previous posts I have a carded FF that is not marked sungold anywhere, Its Baltard with long arms (like the one from a few posts back) And i know someone who has two other long armed ones without sungold on them Thats why i asked if all of yours where marked But i know these also can be found with Sungold stamped on their Back, heck i have quite a collection of them myself also all balled legged. I have the dragoon version and am sure i posted pics of that in comparison with his gw and turly brother in the past.

Here's another cool color variation of one of these figures. It just sold on Ebay - pretty sick! Don't know if the bow is original ( probably not ), but the shield is for sure. Attachments:
