Thought I would open a thread on this line even though they are pretty much on clearance everywhere. I finally broke down a bought a few of these figures and let me tell that with the lack of articulation the clearance price is about what they are worth on some. The best places I've found these on clearance so far is Target and Kmart. Kmart is currently having 50 percent or more on all the Green Lantern stuff. I scored some of the regular figures for only 2 bucks each but there really wasn't much of a selection.

They are just starting to get marked down here so I will give it some more time. I would like to buy some for around $2.00 each. I read a lot of complaints on other forums about the lack of articulation with Green Lantern. It doesn't bother me as much . I think that Mattel added nice detail to each figure and the light up feature is very cool.

The molds do actually look good it's just the lack of articulation that made me wait till this line hit clearance to buy. I hope in future Mattel realizes this and puts more effort into making a quaility figure lines worth buying. The Target exclusives that light were cool but like I said their lack of articulation made them worthless to collectors.

I was surprised to see Mattel make these figures without articulated knees and elbows even. Very Kenner old skool but it really made the toys bland and disappointing-especially for a big budget comic book tie in film. I've seen them on sale here in the UK and I expect they'll be reduced in price in due course as the film came out last year over here.

Still waiting for these to go on clearance in my area. Saw a few deluxe packs at Walmart for $10 each, gonna wait it out though. Thinking they will have a bunch of these to unload cheap very soon, and if not, oh well.

You can now get these single carded figures at Five Below for 3 bucks each. I bought a few just cause that's the breaking point price at which I'm willing to pay for a few of these.

Winners has these for 3 bucks each as well...the single pack ones. I passed as these just dont look good at all. I was debating on buying a few just for the rings to give to my sons but again passed...I dont think I would touch a single figure in this line for even a buck.

A local discount toy store BJ Toys has many of the singles in now for $2 each and 3 different deluxe packs for $3 each. Its to bad they are missing a number of the figures from the 20 released (I still need 4 of them).
BTW anyone know if the last 3 Guardian 2-packs were ver released at Walmart? I have never seen them?
