They are cool, but most of them are broken because they were made terribly and it's impossible to figure them out. lol

I still think the classic transformers are the best. I like them all the way up to headmasters. Every afternoon i would hurry home and watch the cartoons and even read the comics. I had almost all the cars and a few planes to. Optimus and megatron were just alome. I always thought they had very good quality on the bigger robots.

Indeed, they were always very solid, even the smaller ones (that you'd expect would break). I've got a Cliffjumper still in great shape and he still works.

There are many transformers fans around the world, even some of them are adults, they still have a clear memory of transformers, they will keep loving them forever.

Michael Bay ruined Transformers....the latest cartoon 'Transformers Prime' is awful....I like the classic Transformers cartoons and toys, its a good thing there've been some reissues of classic ones. I also like the Generations/Universe ones that look more like cartoon versions from the G1 era - the Decepticon Jet ones like Thundercracker and Acidstorm based on the Starscream mold are cool, I have those two and many others....One of the best ones I own is Scorponok, I also have Predaking, Pirahnacon, Ruination, Ultra Magus to name but a few...at the moment I'm trying to complete my Menasor....

Scorponok has been a grail of mine since childhood. I got mine near complete, he's missing just 2 antenna and the arms for the mini robot/guns. Cost me £70. I also own Skullcrucher and Mindwipe, Vorath, Mindwipes head is missing an arm and Skullcruncher is only missing his grey gun. It annoys me at the prices for individual prices for bits you need to complete Transformers stuff....the only thing thats a bit off about Scorponok is he head - its too small sat inside the helmet for the robot body when in big robot mode - Takara/Hasbro should have designed it so Lord Zarak combines with the helmet to make the head or something like that - what I mean is, his face is far too small in comparison. I also like to think of the Headmasters from the Japanese perspective - that the small head is actually a smaller Transformer rather than a Nebulan individual.

Yes transformers origin is from Japan. The first Japanese anime based on Transformers was Transformers Generation 1. Really awesome and classy. I think the action figures makers there are takara tommy. You can read the entire transformers history on transformer.wikia.

Technically the origins of Transformers is Hasbro and the US when you take it back far enough. Yes Transformers was an amalgamation of several Japanese toylines; however with 9- possibly 10 exceptions, it was an amalgamation of Diaclone and Microchange making the Dorvack (Deluxe Autobots) & Beetras (Deluxe insecticons) toys, Gunborg (Shockwave), discarded Strike Valkyrie prototype (Jetfire), Mechabot-1 (Omega Supreme) and whatever Skylynx was intended to be called as the possible 10th other toy, exceptions rather than the rule.
Furthermore, while Diaclone was a spinoff of Microchange, which was a relaunch of Microman; Microman was a relaunch of Cyborg Henshin, which was a relaunch of Combat Joe, which was the name which GIJOE (as in the original 12" line) was released in Japan by Takara under. Ergo, Transformers deepest origins are actually in the US.
