Well...what have we here? What be this mysterious beastie? Up until I first saw it myself, I had no idea either! It's made by some company called INEXO. I never heard of that company either. Aside from being made in Hong Kong, it does not show a date...I assume 80s...it feels like some cheap 80s toy you passed by in the furthest depths of the crappy Sears toy department back in the day.
I do not know what side is supposed to be up...is the window the front or the top? Who knows! It's hard to get a good view of the creature twist-tied into place within. Yo get a nice side view of the monster on the side or front of the package. His, her, its name is "Megor".
Here's a side shot of the box with the toy features! You can see this toy is meant to be one of those vehicles, creatures, or accessories made to "go along with" whatever popular action figures of the time. So it can join the likes of Megadons, the Trundaxx, Grid Striker, Tek Force or even the various Imperial beast mounts. And who might that rider be? I'm assuming some custom or altered figure.
Okay...anyone who knows me is probably cringing about me opening this puppy up! Yep. Opened! Don't fret, though...it may have already been opened. Although the twist ties were in place, the toy itself may or may not have been used...tape comes off with age, too. The person I got this from had told me the middle leg was broken off. The tabs that hold the saddle on were cracked off as well...bummer, but I got over it. I even glued the leg back on! The darn thing is kinda on the cheap-o side...very light plastic. I'm not sure if it works yet...no extra batteries for me. I did try to open the back and almost broke the head off, though. Yeah, and the box is a sack of lies...dirty, dirty lies! Aside from the two AAs in the monster...it neglects to inform you of the two you need for the controller. Oh, the disgruntled reactions of junior and his parents on Christmas morn, when they discovered this false advertisement!
Here's a shot with a rider...the larger He-Man scale figures of my dreams don't quite fit in the seat as planned. Eh...tough nuts, I guess. Sill okay, though.
Works much better with smaller-scale guys! They don't look like adults trying to cram into an elementary school desk, as much. This thing looks great with my mini MotU knock offs.
Oh...almost forgot! The back of the box! Oh ho ho...the best for last? Maybe. Seems ol' Megor has at least two other buddies...Robexon and Rexon! Yeah, I gotta have 'em.
You can tell the other two monsters are bigger...were they the same price or did you get more bang for your buck? It seems they may have little saddles on their backs as well...Robexon's head may even open like a cockpit! If it does, probably only smaller figures can fit inside.
Well, that's it...until I can wrangle the rest of the Nexor gang, I'm just sittin' pretty enjoying my Megor without breaking it! Anyone who can point me in the direction of the other two is just a peach, in my eyes!
