Which are your top 3 favorite modern action figures? I know some collect the newer lines even if very expensive and thought a thread like this would be fun.
Mine would be these. Mostly because they are just so well made. 1. Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano CW44 2. Clone Wars Admiral Yularen 3. Clone Wars Obi-Wan

1. DC Direct Series 2 Green Lantern Salaak 2. SDCC Wonder Twins w/ Gleek 3. 2010 Power Rangers pink translucent version
i just googled your top 3 rawlin. that ahsoka is awesome. checked it on ebay and am surprised at how much it sells for. my 4 year old son has 3 of them, and sadly, all complete trashed!

Sorry to hear that, the Ahsoka figure is considered rare for some reason, I guess it had a limited number produced. Maybe on purpose. Since they also belong to some sort of simple game they might be doing what Wizards of the Coast does with Magic the Gathering, just making limited amounts on the really good ones. I bought one one for 30£ and one for 20$, the later is on the way and I will keep it moc :)
I really love this figure I just wish the ankles would have had ball joints as well.
I like the pink translucent power ranger :) it looks cool almost like a pink robot jedi with a lightsaber and whip.

Its ok that they are trashed. My son had a blast with them. Sometimes us collectors forget that toys are meant to be played with. A trashed toy means a loved toy. my son has been into the clone wars for the last 2 years (he will be turning 5 on sept 18. So to whoever is reading this, instead of throwing away those early 90s potf figs that nobody wants, send them to my doorstep. Haha!) and ahsoka & r2 are his favs. It is a really nice figure though. I may have to pick one up for myself...i don't collect star wars though, so she'd have to do a crossover appearance on my pink power ranger shelf!

Hehe I wonder if they really are toys though, prices are up over the roof here and they seem to break pretty easily judging by the joints and soft plastic. I just did a few poses with jar jar, well he can't bend the knees and the legs pretty much don't move either. So spinning the feet a little and moving the arms around, they are already pretty loose.
I would have loved these as a kid though, they are pretty awesome anyway. About cross over, I think Cheeta from thundercats is pretty cool. Not so fund of the other ones though, but might get that cleric cat.

Agreed on the shatty construct of newer toy lines! A good portion of the figs in my sons toybox are missing heads and hands...i haven't seen the new thundercats figures in-hand yet (haven't been down a toy aisle in a while). But I loved the teasers I saw earlier this year, they looked good. Cheetara one of the more promising. The new show is pretty awesome too! I plan on picking up the whole line. Eventually. Target only, right?

I don't really have 3 favorite figures but I can tell you the lines that currently interest me the most.
4. Marvel Universe - It keeps getting better, love the variants 3. GI Joe - Brought me back to the game in late 90's and keeps improving as well 2. Power Rangers by Bandai - Love the way their 2010 and Samurai figures go in particular the White Ranger 1. Star Wars Vintage - They are finally making a quality figure for the Star Wars brand.

I love the challenge of trying to rank them. I can only comment on ones I have; 1.3.75" Wink from Hellboy2 2. Boba Fett ( white concept design from 2008) 3. Iron Man Mark 1 suit I'm sure there are many better large action figures. I really like MOTUC but don't own any.

1. 25th Snow Serpent 2. 25th B.A.T. 3. POC Snake Eyes(the one with the alternate head and loads of weapons) Para Viper is also cool and MOTUC look awsome- but I've only seen pictures of them.

*and cosign It Better be Red, I love the Deadpool/Taskmaster set. I have a small Marvel Universe collection, I like them but I collect so many lines and I'm more invested in JLU and SHS, but I had to bu that 2 pack when I saw it at Target. That's the last MU figures I bought actually.

else3573.. I am more of a DC fan too. Funny how two Marvel figures made my top 3. I'm looking forward to the figures that will fill the shelves after the Avengers movie and The Batman Dark Knight Rises movie hit this year.
