Anyone remember or collect Bop Bags? For those that don't know, they are 4 foot high inflatable bags with graphics on them of a character. The bottom is weighted so kids can punch them and they pop back up.
I remembered loving the ones I had as a kid. Play fighting and all that. I had to have one in my collection so I bought a boxed vintage Darth Vader bop bag.
For the longest time I displayed it filled in a corner, but the air would seep out rather quickly. Requiring a refill every week or two. For anything inflatable that'll happen, regardless of a leak.
So it's been rolled up in it's box for a long time because I hated the constant refilling.
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how you'd display something like that while it's deflated.

What do they look like flattened out? Could you hang them on the wall and see the graphics on the bag still clearly?

What do they look like flattened out? Could you hang them on the wall and see the graphics on the bag still clearly? Flattened out the graphics are all wrinkly as it's deflated. I guess I really have few options when you really think about it. Either leave the weighted base on the floor or a shelf and then somehow clip the top up to its full height and leave it be. The only other option I can think of is spray foam. To spray enough in there to expand it fully and then just prop it up. It'll never go back in the box after that, nor will it work as a bop bag, and I risk bursting the plastic....but honestly, it's just in a box now so what does it matter? lol That is, unless the stuff is flammable...never used it before. lol

You need it hooked up to a little foot pump so you can just pump it up whenever you want with a couple of taps.
