Size is comparable to Sectaur/Thundercats but I just can't find any info on them. I found this pic at a brazillian auction a while back and saved it as a reference.

I have one of these carded, but It's packed away and I can't find it. I think it's like sparkle warriors something, The toys are very cheap plastic though. There is a thread on this site somewhere when I originally posted the pink one. You will have to search for the thread though.

These are called "super ninja"and where made by original toys in the 80's I've got some in my collection too and have card art and comics packed away

This is a nice line from the eighties

I've got the ninja on the bottom right, but mine has more detailing in the face, and a skull sticker on his upper left shoulder where that circle is. I think that area is designed for each ninja's specific insignia

I have 3 of them, but only one comic book. The name of this action figures is: "Super Ninja, the Invisible Warriors" made by Original Toys in 1985. The bad guys were Emperor NIghtmare (the purlple figure with horns on the mask) and the human-lion character (i dont' know his name.) I think there were no other villains in this series(maybe the robot-ninja i seen in the comic book, white with a concentric black circle on the front of the mask). On the other side, the good guys, there were just two girls (not sure if there actually was action figures for those) one blond and one brunette. One of them had a long chain attached to a blade. All the good ninja had a different colour and a different animal name. Not sure if on every of them, but on the one i have, there is a tatoo on the arm portraing the animal they get the name from. Each of them used mainly one weapon. For example i have a white ninja that was called Lion Ninja and used the nunchaku. A friend of mine had a black one called Panther Ninja, who used a sort of a whip. I dont' know why but within the good guys there was a main difference: Some of them (like Lion Ninja) had visible eyes both in comic book and action figure and the action figure had a sort of loose mask, like a cape. The others (like Panther Ninja) had just... holes or something like that in the eyes position (like spiderman) and the action figure have a tight mask. Basically Emperor Nightmare is a mix between those two design if you dont' consider the horns. Each figure came with an amazingly draw comic book containing a story about the character itself, probably just a part of a larger storyline. The cover was a beautiful big illustration of teh ninja in action and the last pages contains a martial arts tutorial about the use of the special skill or the weapon of the character. I'm looking for more info about them, expecially about the comic books, but i can't find anything on the web, so if anyone of you have any info to share, please get in touch with me! thanks.

Any chance we can get some pictures of the cardbacks or comics? What country of origin are we looking at for these? I have the orange Lion-O looking smaller one with no knee joints, although mine is missing the blue sash that's on sniper's pictured one. Would love to see the other stuff.

Here's my collection of them. The LionO guy on the far left and the yellow guy in the middle have different legs/waist then the others. I'm guessing this means the others are from the same series and those two are from a different line.

I'm from the Netherlands, been to Italy a few times but no Italian blood in the family When i bought my ninjas from ebay i went looking for info on them and found this: www.planeteternia.de/cgi-bin/messages.pl?sprID=1;thrID=31706;Page=1Its in German but thats no problem for me i can read an speak German. The Germans also found our thread. I have this stuff, comics and backing card, stashed away somewhere but might have some pics in my photobucket that i could show

Your from Italy you must have found this: www.giocattolivecchi.com/Forum_detail.aspx?t=0&f=1&s=1&id_d=436448&p=1I found it when i was trying to find the German one again. I think that site even has more info hidden about them. This Italian thread alone is very sweet to see. But besides that Italian one, the German one and here I have never ever seen or found info on these

Picked these up a few days ago at a local flea market. I had never seen them before finding this thread, and then shortly after I get some in the wild. What are the odds?
