I also collect vintage video games & systems, but am thinking of selling off some stuff due to space limitations. I guess you can also say I collect DVDs as well. I also am into some older comic titles such as Marvel's Star Wars, Uncanny X-Men and a few others but don't pick them up to often (only when i get a good deal).

Figure collecting takes up most of my funds. I do have a decent collection of 80's tv shows and movies on dvd as well as about 30+ NES games.

Unfortunately I collect too much besides action figures. I got really big into collecting currency the past few years, random dollar bills based on years and serial numbers as well as random coins here and there. That all got started based on one of my other hobbies which is Where's George. The currency tracking web site. Where's GeorgeI also collect some comic books, whatever happens to strike my interest at the time. A few non sports trading card series here and there. I also collect old character glasses, like the old Looney Toons glasses that I'm sure everyone has seen plus other series. I also have a small collection of shot glasses. I also have a rather large collection of old Marx Disney figures. They're just the 6" hard plastic figures of characters in different colors. Kind of like action figures without the action part I actually started with the cowboys and Indians and such and then got into the Disney ones which really took over. Then I'm also into some fast food toys, not as much as I used to be but of course I got all of the Star Wars ones from Burger King this time around. I'm probably the only person you'll ever meet who will admit to owning all 80 of the McDonalds Furby toys as well

I stick mainly to the figures but I do look out for some diecast too (mostly the Husky T.V. themed cars), and I am trying to complete the Micronaut comic series.

I have a bunch of non-figure items in my collection, but I don't actively collect any of it. It's just stuff I wanted in addition. Like unique comic/fantasy artwork, busts/statues, Prisoner of Azkaban lenticular theater display, my ROTJ lunchbox, my Pac-Man trash can, Ghostbusters pop gun, vintage trading card boxes/packs etc.. I used to collect trading cards back in the day. I have a bunch of Star Wars sets. A complete Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, G.I. Joe, & He-Man sets among others. I guess I collect comics too, but I really only buy them to read. I had nearly every Dark Horse Star Wars comics, as well as nearly every Spawn comic, but I just sold them all on eBay. Still have a ton of other crap. My prized possessions are the comics I got as a kid. Especially my old Marvel Joes. I do like mini-comics for some reason. I'm only 2 shy of a complete MOTU toy comic set. Have all the Super Powers minis, and some others. Old games too, but in digital form via emulators. I have nearly every Arcade, Atari 2600, Intellivision, Game Boy (including Advance), NES, & SNES game. I actually made a little Arcade PC out of an old ammo can for my living room so I can play arcade games on my TV. But I guess my biggest collection is media. Nearly anything digital I can get my hands on. Mainly Star Wars, but I've branched out into a ton of other crap. Probably well over 600GB worth. Mainly stuff cataloged on DVD-ROMs, but a lot of regular video DVDs too.

I collect basketball cards from the early 80's on back. Not much money for that right now, as I focus on the action figures. But, I plan on working my way back around to it eventually. Besides that, I have been buying the marvel x-men's essential volumes as they come out. Mostly just to read the storylines. I used to have all those issues from back then, but I sold my collection off, about 3 years ago. I started coin collecting also, but that stopped, after it got boring. Action figures is the only thing that really keeps my attention. Plus, there are so many lines that you can work on, so it is never ending, really.

Good tread, it's nice to see your other interest!
In addition to action figure, like some of you here I collect DVDs. Mainly genre film, my biggest load being :
- Sword & Sandals (eveything form Biblical Hollywood Epic to Recent blockbuster, but my favourite are the 1950's - 60's Italian one ala Steve Reeves) - Cavemen movies (about eveything i can find with cavemen in it) - Fantasy flick - Chuck Norris and Stallone flicks (mainly 1980's) - Hong-Kong 1980's action cinema (mainly Chow-Yun Fat and John Woo) - Bruce Lee flicks - Martial art flick in general - Horror in general (mainly Fulci, Zombie stuff and weird entries)
I also collect D&D miniatures, cool fantasy mini figure and cheap when it comes to common ones. Since I don't play, as long as the figure is cool (and cheap) I'm buying.

Back in the day I was all about NASCAR racecars. I probably have 200-300 in boxes. They're about the size of a matchbox car, 1/64. Last time I checked they aren't really going for much so maybe they'll be good for fire wood one day.

When I am not collecting action figures, I am collecting a rare group of beetles. These beetles are pinned and stored similar to a natural history museum. The beetles collected are primarily used for research. My collection contains an unknown number of new species, many of which are going to be described by a colleague in Finland. I am currently drafting seven papers for scientific publication, based on specimens in my collection. I am 12 species away from completing the North American fauna, a feat never accomplished in the history of American Entomology.

I collect rookie cards of LSU players. I try to get a rookie, auto rookie, and memorabilia card for every football, baseball, and basketball player who makes it to the pros. The problem I run into these days is that we are producing so many first rounders that I can't afford to do this and I am several years behind in my collecting. I have some seriously short printed cards for some of the late round guys like Bennie Brazell.
I also have LSU football schedule posters from back to 1999 framed.

What else do I collect!? Boy, that's a hard question... because I have so much stuff of all kinds, I don't know in how many categories to put it... I collect feathers which I use to make crafts, I have a collection of common seashells for the same purpose, I have a collection of baleen whale toys, a collection of toy animal miniatures (which I use to invent board games), a collection of old Def Leppard-Bon Jovi-Scorpions magazine articles, a collection of books about many subjects, a collection of dry plants specimens I put in researches, a collection of insects (found already , by the way), I pinned in decorative transparent boxes, with fake flowers and everything, a bigger collection of insects I used for my researches (also found already ; I'm too lazy and sensitive to kill them myself), a collection of jellyfish images (photocopies), a collection of unicorns, a collection of centaurs (besides those I make myself), a collection of this, a collection of that... it seems I collect collections. I am a stuff picker. I pick up stuff of about any category and keep it. What else to add?

Here's my list, in no particular order. odd records (doo wop, comedy, novelty, vintage punk, heavy metal, storybook & anything else weird) Oddball items (holy water, pooping snowman, etc.) comics (but not many in the last few years, though I did score a mint copy of amazing spider-man #300 for a buck a couple weeks ago) Muppets (mostly anything muppet show and muppet movies related) board games & puzzles autographed figs & pics (horror, sci-fi & b-movie) Posters (horror, sci-fi & b-movie) books (horror, sci-fi, b-movie, TV & D&D) out of print horror and b-movies on VHS (I must have like 8 different release copies of "Evil Dead") I used to have vintage video game systems, but sold most of them. Coleco Telstar, Famiclone, sega & sega genesis, Magnovox 500 and others. Though I still have a vintage NES, sega genesis, super nintendo, N64, PSone, PS2, xbox360 consoles, but not many games anymore. Vinyl halloween masks (Just started collecting, looking to find vintage Dark Crystal ones) DVD's I collect MP3's, I have about 50,000 MP3's on a 350 gig HD, but will be updating to a terrabyte someday to get more music & anything else that I dig. and finally, just due to the amount of stuff I have I guess I'm a dust collector.
