i thought one of my favorite series ever deserved it's own thread! these guys could be poster children for difficult to research 80s toys with convoluted production information. 6 figures were made, with 2 color variations each, making for 12 figures to collect. these fellas are most commonly known as "Outer Terrestrial Creatures." Marty Toy made em in 84 and 85, and packaged them in 3 packs. there may be single packs out there, but i've never seen them. Marty Toy changed their name to M-Toy at some point, and some packages carry that logo. these guys were also packaged as "Lil Gremlin Creatures" in single, 3, and apparently 6 packs. i'd never seen a six pack before, so i jumped on this one! from left to right, we have Okky, Uggy, Tiggy, Ooggy, Mooky, and Blobby. to make things more confusing, these were released in 1983 by Gordy International as The Ugg Family, with completely different names! here are two carded examples i have, of "Oliver" and "Mortimer": last but not least here are some loose examples i own: i'd love to get a complete loose set if anyone has any they'd like to get rid of. i would also like to get a single carded one in Gremlin Creature packaging. and of course, if anyone has any other packaging variations, i want to see them!

Is that the 6 pack that was just on Ebay? (like this week?) Nice score if so, I was going to bid on it but I gotta watch my cash...

Do they actually "work"? I mean, do they do that little flip thingie the package promises...or do they just kinda fall over?
I've actually thought about casually nabbing a few of these before, but never caught on.

I thought those might be the same ones. Nice pickup, that's a really good price. Can those boxes be opened easy without damaging them so you can display them loose?

they really just tip over. you can open the box from the side, then pull the tray out they're attached to and undo the twist ties without any damage at all

They are absolutely cute! With their large heads and big eyes, they remind me of Hasbro's LITTLEST PET SHOP. They would be definitly small critters, if they were alive, with those proportions. I imagine them running everywhere in the dark like mice... and do their nasty buisinesses unseen.
