Well I finally broke down a bought a CLU figure at 5.99 on sale at Kmart, he was the only one they had left. I've been waiting a long time for decent price to buy a figure and at 6 bucks seems reasonable enough for these guys. I refused to pay the 9 to 12 they currently go for at most retailers and from what I've seen at the stores the line hasn't moved much cause of the prices or just lack of interest. I did buy the Light Cycle for 9 bucks as well and for all you interested it isn't worth that cause of the cheap plastic and not coming with a figure. Overall I would wait for them to hit clearance or a good sale cause they are quality figures but just so over priced.

I have the same thoughts on this line. $10 per figure is way to much. Waited and picked up a near complete 1st wave set for $5 each and $10 per vehicle, on clearance at Walmart. Their wasn 't much left though, took me a few locations to put the set together.
I don't think retailers brought in to much from this line, never saw the 3 second wave figures or whatever they put out for vehicles in the stores.

I went to my local Target today and found that they lowered the price of the Tron figures to 5.99 each and it really helped to move them cause only a few were left, so if your interested in these figures then they may have done the same at your local Target? They pretty much lowered the price on everything Tron Legacy which means it won't be long before this stuff is on clearance.

Anyone know why there are two variants of CLU in which one comes with a sword and one does not?

I think the first release one is that he has orange stripes, then they corrected it making them yellow for all other releases. Not sure which version has the sword, but I can check my yellow Clu tonight.

Pretty much everything Tron Legacy is on clearance now and I was lucky to get some Light Cycles at Kmart for only 4 bucks each.

I thought the purpose of an action figure was to have as much likeness as possible? That is a pretty cool looking figure but at 500 beans it much be extremely limited? I haven't heard a thing about this figure till your post.

The figure is shown on the series 2 Jarvis and Quorra figure cardbacks. It was some sort of likeness approval thing that never got done in time, so the 500 or so that were made at the time were either destroyed or given to employees. Thats what I heard at least.

I have seen at least a dozen sold but I stopped checking after a while. Some that I noticed sold for around $150. Most of the completed listings I remember sold for around $300. Some of the first ones I saw were posted at a tron forum by people claiming to get theirs as gifts from friends at Spinmaster. Then one person got lucky and bought one for less than $20 on ebay from a China seller. That made me wonder if more become available from China but so far that has not been the case. I have all of the other figures and vehicles and would love to have Castor but I think $150 would be the most I can afford to spend at the moment.

Is this r/c vehicle a rip off of the new Tron or what?
