I bought a lot of toys and video games this weekend. First thing I noticed, is that the NES games had the info on the back labels in French as well as English. Then I realized an Ideal board game I got had all French writing as well. Anyway, I got a 1986 Slimer figure too (the one with the Proton pack). I don't remember seeing that figure often and all the examples I see on eBay have French writing on the card and mostly from Canada. So is this figure an exclusive to Canada or something? Nope, it's a regular release (but a rather rare one in US packaging).

There's the variant proton pack color though, blue or red. Seems to be even quantities of both, and you can find them on the US, Canadian and European packaging.
Personally I prefer the blue proton pack as it goes well with the first series human figures.

The NES games are Canadian releases if they have French on the back label as well. Same with the boardgame. Slimer is NOT a Canadian exclusive and was also released in the US by Kenner and in Argentina by Jocsa company. There are NO Canadian exclusives from this line other than bi-lingual packaging which in most instances is worth LESS. The only Exclusives from this line were released in Argentina by Jocsa. Dark Blue skinned Zombie, Detail-less Slime Ghosts, Crazy Ink figures with Ghosts, and possibly a few more Argentinian pieces. The Jocsa released Real Ghostbusters toys are RARE.

I just dug up my small childhood collection of these, I got Peter, Egon and Ray. And some newer figures that does stuff(the girl, egon, ray and winston), I also got slimer, marschmellow man, bug eye and two of the Gooper ghosts(the one with slime coming out of mouth and nose and the flying slime dropping ghost. And at last I got the Ghost Zapper as well, don't have the right type of batteries so can't test it. Seems like like the figures are complete with their weapons and ghosts. Got the boxes as well Really love ghost busters, I had a lot of fun with these when I was a kid.
