Years ago when I was really poor and happened to aquire a decent chunk of cash... I said... "Let's blow this on a toy!!!" That toy was Gorzak! A mechanical monster whom I believe was built by Tyco who responded to voice commands!!! Somewhere along the way Gorzak went into storage or became lost... If you have seen this toy... or know where I could aquire one... please let me know an I will be greatly in your debt... An image of the creature described... Has anyone seen him before??? Any information is appreciated!!! Much thanks!!!

Gorzak, what the hell!! Cool figure but have never heard of him before. You should make a favorite search for him on Ebay then sit back and wait until you get an email letting you know one has come up on auction.

Looks nifty. Sod the feature, though. The sculpt would win me over.

Anyone have the directions for this guy - mine works but I don't know how to program him or give him commands. Would love to get a scan of the directions.

I got Gorzak for Xmas back in 1996, and he's still with me now, standing proudly on top of my DVD shelf in the living room: Not sure if it's worth adding to the conversation almost two years later, but think it can be said that the whole "voice command" thing was a bit of a joke. I figured it out when I was 11, pressing the button on his belt will make his eyes light up and he'll roar a bit. Just leave him and he'll either start walking or swing wildly with his axe. Still a lot of fun though. When me and my brother would have toy wars, he'd fire the plastic missiles from Magus (of Mighty Max fame), then Gorzak would just walk over and destroy everything, ha!

Heh, never clicked on to the similarities before! It's a Super Dino Monster, but from now in he is Gorzak Jr., certainly!

i had a gorzak for a while, but ended up selling him. the fact that he's just solid black makes him a pretty dull figure. if he were more colorful i would probably love it.
