I have a tone of the little plastic guys. I am trying to track down all the colours of each figure...and I really want the red and tan dragons. Any help?

I picked up the Dungeons of Castlelon and the Forest of Doom sets today. These aren't even mentioned on the Virtual Toy Chest website. They cost me quite a bit, but I will probably never run across them again - at least not off ebay.

Cool This set really neat. There are no new colors of figures, at least compared to the other sets I have seen. Funny how the package art is so different from the actual contents....... Do you know which set comes with a: black dragon (tower of the night?) red dragon (fires of shandarr?) yellow dragon I have a green dragon seen in your set...but it also comes with several sets (dragonriders), I also have a black dragon which I have never seen before....and hopefully I will have that red dragon by the end of the week. I have alot of different color variations on all of the figures as well....I am trying to track down as many of the different ones as I can....which leaves me with alot to trade....should anyone want. Here is a link to the playseys: www.virtualtoychest.com/dfc/dfc.html

The package says that the color of the contents may vary from the picture. My Castlelon set has a black dragon in it, but shows a green dragon on the box.

According to the shop I bought these from, the two sets came in separately. So I doubt these were intermingled.

I agree...these sets were thrown together with little rhyme or reason...and the colors were almost always off.

Wow! That set is huge! I'd hate to pay the shipping on that one. I thinks it's funny how they say the set works with MOTU, Black Star and Crystar on the box!

I recently came across this vintage bag of plastic "fantasy" figures. The bag header says "Fantasy Favorites. Anyone heard about these critters? It seem that they were made by a Canadian Company named Toyco in 1983. The marking "Toyco 1983, Hong Kong" is written on every figure's base. The bag is loaded with 40 plastic figures, six different creatures are available, some of them comes in two colorways. I'd be interested to know if Toyco made more mini figures series other than the Fantasy figures.

Good moring guys, Thanks a lot for your quick response. I have a quick question though, what are DFC?? I tried to find what the abbreviation could be but without success. I'm open to trades and/or dollars (mostly dollars, hehehe) What do you have for trade? Andre

Oh my! I remember these! I used to have a bunch of those, and you know what, I might still have a few at my parents'. The mini figures that I have indeed look like the Dragonriders... Are all the Dragonriders from 1984? or did some were made prior to that?

drbo - was the case cardboard? No, a nifty black plastic case. It was rougly three time a foot a half long and a half foor high. The side opened to reveal compartment and the map rolled like a window store on the bottom, so you ended up laying the case as castle or something and spread the map at the bottom of it. I really appreciate this tread as I would be pretty happy to found one back! ID the collection sure help.

I have one like that, but it's cardboard and no compartments. The box/case doubles as castle walls. It also comes with a playmat. It's the Forest of Doom playset.

Okay...I've tried doing some research and snooping, but no dice! I give up...what is this thing? It's a small plastic snake-like creature with humanoid head, but no face. It has the feel and outline of a humanoid, but no features (nose, eyes, mouth, ears). Any idea? My mind is boggling! I can't sleep! I'm just...just...sick over it!!! HELP!!!

Well slap me thrice and hand me to me mother! As if drawn via psychic link, I stumbled across it's identity...sort of. It's from the Dragonriders of the Styx solid plastic figures...Naga...I think. I say this because the Naga I saw had a clear face and ears. Was this guy a victim of a kid with a magnifying lens? I suspected such, but the surface is pretty uniform and even. Some weird variant? Any input?
