Anyone here collect these? They have a huge assortment of different figures. I just bought a bunch of DS9 figures for cheap so I may start picking up some of my favorite characters from this line.

I really havent followed the line much but an Ezri would be cool. I think that I may just stick with the DS9 characters for a while and then branch out when I get them done. How many of these figures do you have?

I have two 9 inches Playmate Star Trek figures with weapons and floor stands - TNG Romulan and TNG Data, I need to collect more of unlimited 9" Star Trek & Alien Collector series.....
They're alot cheaper than ST & Alien Megos.

I went to a rummage sale over the summer where all the figures were $2 - Mint on Card. The guy must've started collecting during the mid 90's and just out-grew it. He had a lot of figure that were worth big money when they were released. Spawn, X-Men, Predator, Spider-Man, etc. Piles and piles (he had piles) of Star Trek figures. I spent a couple hundred dollars on his stuff.

Hey Everyone, I just bought a huge collection of Playmates Star Trek figures, the guy I bought these from rapped each figure individually with bubble wrap but threw all the weapons in one baggie, so as you can see where I am going with this, does anyone know a good site that shows the figures with their respective weapons? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Ed

Hey guys, Long time, no see! It's great to be back.
So I made the ultimate score today. I landed a DS9 Sisko in TNG uniform in a big lot of figures I needed for only $30. I believe this completes my collection of Playmates figures in standard TNG uniforms (not including Dress Uniforms and such). Can anyone tell me if I am missing any?
Red Shirts Picard Riker (torn and untorn) Q Wesley Ro Sisko (DS9 send away) Worf LaForge Data (rare chase figure)
Blue Shirts Crusher (with and without coat) Troi Pulaski Bashir (DS9) Dax (DS9) Picard (send away)
Yellow Shirts Worf Data LaForge Barkley O'Brien Yar Thomas Riker
In addition, I'm now beginning to collect all the playmates figures in DS9 style jumpsuits (including Voyager and Generations figures) and was wondering if anyone had or knew the full list. In addition to the standard main characters for DS9, Voyager, and Generations, I know of:
TNG - Wesley DS9 - Q, Thomas Riker Voyager - Seska, Carey

Great resource! Thanks!!!
Looks like my lists were complete outside of the Spencers Exclusive Neelix in DS9 jumpsuit.
I guess the next question is, what's a good online store for buying these figures? I used to use Figurerealm, but they seem to have liquidated most of their Trek stock. The AFA online store doesn't even have a DS9 or Voyager section...
Incidentally, some of those unproduced items would have been fantastic, particularly Commander Shelby and the TOS Bridge.

Yeah I was really disappointed that Playmates cancelled the electronic lights & sounds Cardassian Warship and "All Good Things" Enterprise. They were shown at Toy Fair that year and the lights and sounds were really cool!

Even the Warp Factor series was a bit taller, wasn't it?
I've always loved this series, too. Obtaining that ultra rare TNG Sisko figure just rekindled my passion for the entire series. I'd love for Playmates to resurrect the old figures in the wake of the new Star Trek movie!

no dont think they were taller (ill have to dig to figs out to compare , but they did do a 6" run of trek figs, from the movie i think, didnt bother with them, not a fan of the 6" size.... which fig is DS9 Sisko in TNG uniform "is it on the ds9 card back, and in black with a red top? got most of the figgures pictured on my pc, heres my red data think i have 2 of these

which fig is DS9 Sisko in TNG uniform "is it on the ds9 card back, and in black with a red top? It was a mail away of Sisko in a traditional duty uniform from the prologue in the first episode of DS9. The 1701 figures aside, it's the rarest of all Playmates trek figures. It generally sells for about $200, but I lucked out and found it in a lot of DS9 figures I needed anyway for $35. I still can't believe it. Love the Redemption Data, by the way. I'll have to get me one eventually.

[Update]
I now believe I am in possession of EVERY 4.5" Playmates figure to wear a TNG or DS9 uniform (including all variants) with the exceptions of:
- Redemption Data - Tapestry Picard - Yesterday's Enterprise Tasha Yar
I'm just holding off on these because I've spent nearly $200 on figures in the past two weeks, and they go for $25 to $75 each.

I don't know if many people here collect the 5 inch star trek playmates figures from the 90s . Well I do and i've always been fascinated by how low a number I will get when I buy a batch of figures ( each figure had a different number under their foot usually in the 100,000s ) what is the lowest number that you have in your collection does anyone own a figure which is less than 100?....

DOES ANYONE HAVE PICTURES OF 3000 BARCLAY 1701 PICCARD AND 1701 NATASHA YAR AGAINST THE SAME 3 FIGURES IN THE BOX SET SO I CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE...IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCES? HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP

I have a Tasha Yar single and a Tasha Yar from the 3 piece set and noticed that the reissue from the set had more "make-up" on her face. The differences were obvious without pictures. One had blush and eye shadow; one didn't.

Yeah. The Voyager figures were manufactured in lower numbers due to lower demand, so it's far easier to get low number Voyager figures.

The lowest number I have found in my collection is # 002137 on a interstellar borg 5 inch figure .

thanks for the help. Are there any differences in the uniforms or insignias on the chest? I heard the piccards chest emblem was different but I can't find any internet pictures to show this difference.

I've been looking into the DS9 figures but not sure if I want to start collecting a new line. Did they make a JemHadar figre in the 4.5"? And I haven't seen the Voorta - did they skip that figure?

Post by madmartigan37 on May 29, 2011 20:35:58 GMT -6
yes they did make a jem Hadar figure in the 4.5" it was a OK figure but not one of thier better ones. No Vorta and some of the DS9 figures are pretty lame (vedek Bariel) but it is my favorite of all of the Trek series so I am working on getting them all.
