Um..is that like some kind of evil turd? Hahaha. Awesome!
The picture sequence is hilarious as well.
I like that eyeball figure. I have a gross out toy that I will take pics of tonight. It will make a brilliant addition to the thread!

nice! this is disturbingly brilliant. what the hell are these figures? The gents involved in this duel are Gravelguts from Rocks & Bugs & Things and Oculus Orb from Madballs Figures. Quite nasty fellows really.

Hey 10incher when you moved this thread are you sure you meant to move it to Modern Figures. The vast majority of gross out toys are from the 80s. There's really not much after the very early 90s.
The figures that I posted as kind of like the banner to this thread are from 1985 and 1986 respectively.

Not sure where though, but not modern. Maybe Rouges Gallery or maybe Fantasy or just General

I used to love Boglins, do they degrade over time?

The worst thats happened to mine is that his green tints and other hilights have faded. Other than that, he is great. A really good quality toy. As you can see though he is now entirely purple.
I've had him for about 16 years now, he's moved house twice with me and been stored in all kinds of different locations.
Why? Do some of them suffer the same degrade that affects original madballs? (so I've read recently)

Nice sets Gammo. Seeing the whole Gross Out Gang together is awesome, they compliment each other so well. That Fist of the Northstar toy is truly gross. That's a first rate blog you've got there. Wow, that is a great one Stampede with the liquid blood amongst everything in there. Boglins definitely count, definitely one of the most successful gross out lines. Here's a great Boglins commercial on you tube. I totally remember this commercial from when I was a kid and how my parents would nay say on it like a lot of parents did about gross out toys. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pcor3EbCnP4

Here's the coolest Madballs thing I've ever seen online. Now the coolest Madballs thing I've ever seen, that's super top secret. If I'm able to get it someday I'll post a pic. Madballs torturing Care Bears. Just seems like that's what Madballs were put on the Earth to do right. Did anyone ever get any of those Breath Blasters from that guy that scammed everyone? If so could you get a picture of you surprising your significant other or best friend with a blast.

These are from my deviantart gallery. A series that I must still finish. They are called "Uncaring Bears" I hope this thread is an appropriate place to put them. Cadaver Bear Burnout Bear Think of them as unproduced prototypes.

Wow Stampede, you do those? Genious. If there was ever an appropriate place huh, especially after my post of the Care Bears vs. Madballs. I can't decide which one I like more.

Thank you for your kind words! Feel free to visit my gallery, those two are the only grossout pics though. I do have a couple of pictures of GI-Joes (Cobras anyway.)

Bring on the gross-out toys!!
I phoned my sister the other day to confirm this. She had a toy that was part of the gross-out fad from the 80s. There were a series of figures, but I can only remember the one. It was a guy in a karate outfit, kicking.
Problem was, he had the worst foot fungus I had ever seen. His enlarged foot was completely rotten, filled with holes and writhing worms.
It sounds bizarre I know! But it's true. It was a monochromatic figure.

Thanks Gammo, I was going to contact you next. Yep, that's definitely it. Except the one my sister had was a monochromatic figure. Flesh coloured I think. Must have been some kind of knock-off.

There were miniature flesh-toned figures w/ the same design. They were like the mini M.U.S.C.L.E. toys.

Gammo is there anything you don't know about weird toys? Sure there is. I just seem to educate myself every time I discover something new. Writing the blog has really forced me into obscure toy knowledge

Awesome gross/ghoulish shelf muckmonster. I like the meat paste bottle too. Pretty unappetizing. I wonder if that yuk head thing is a prototype.

madballs are always classic in the gross-out theme. i guess the lunch lady action figure could be considered gross-out, but that is more modern.... i really really like that fist of the north star figure! does that, sort of, transform? into the regular unexploded guy? do they have other characters from the show/manga in a series? i want to know more about these...
