I'm a big Eagle Force fan. I have had the Eagle Island since I was a kid. Love it then and love it now. This is a fun collection to get into. I am still working on getting all of the vehicles for this line.

They are never too expensive but can be tough to find without any broken pieces and all of the little accessories.

I love this series. The figures are pretty cool. I have them all except the pesky Sgt. Brown. I can never seem to find him and when i do see him on ebay and what not i forget to bid...missed him once on a beat up card for 3 bucks....arrrrg!
I have about 1/2 of the collection with their European stands. I really need to get them displayed.
I have a complete Eagle Mountain Fortress as well. I don't have any of the vehicles any more....they all were totally cool though. Best sleeper line around!

i had a bunch of these in '82 and while they were pretty cool at the time, now i look back on them as a sort of an "appetizer" for g.i.joe.

"the few" he says sheesh! they are definitely cool! lol... ;D ;D ;D...i was more referring to the few they actually made. a nice small set to get. they are inexpensive and so underrated, the whole idea of the line is pretty cool in my mind, like DC Blackhawks...all cool and they can all fit in your pocket!

Whats the difference with the European stands to the regular ones and why the change? Are the figures weighty since made of metals? Do they suffer from loose joints? Breakages?

Whats the difference with the European stands to the regular ones and why the change? Are the figures weighty since made of metals? Do they suffer from loose joints? Breakages? So the stands were only released in Europe when you bought the figures in the boxes, and i believe the boxes were not available throughout Europe but in limited countries. Whenever you bought them on card they came with all their accessories but no stands. So getting any stand is very hard, especially the second wave, and even harder for the short-packed Redwing. I am not sure what you mean by "why the change"?? These have a cross between plastic and rubber used for their heads. the bodies are hollow. the only figures who feel heavy are Turk and Harley and thats because their torso's are twice the size as everone elses (the big machine gunner and the bazooka soldier both members of the Eage Force team). These were put together with a large rivet in their backs. i have had only one come apart of the 100 or so i have had over the years. (i bought many lots to get my collection to where it is today). So almost no breakages. As for loose limbs they do have a bit of that but it comes from shotty manufacturing and not from where and tear as far as i can tell and since these guys are 5-point articulation they either stand or sit...which means any looseness does not affect them in either pose.
