As a kid (mid 80's) a friend had these three figures and I have never been able to locate what set they were from or names for them or anything. I have no pics, so I will do my best to describe them to you.
They were somewhere between 6 and 7 inches tall. The legs were straight and only bent at the hip. All 3 were molded to look like some kind of loose martial arts style pants.
One had blue legs and a blue torso with a robotic (terminator like) head. Another had yellow legs and a wolfman look with chest hair (plastic molded into the torso) and a were wolf head. The other had green legs and had a lizard look.
They were articulated at the hip (up and down only), at the waist (swivel - not like MOTU), at the shoulder (up and down), and at the neck (side to side).
If anyone can help me out with what these might be, I would greatly appreciate it. I will try to answer any questions to help clarify anything. Remember this is from memory from 20+ years ago...
Thanks!

I had Pincer when I was a kid. I must say he was probably one of my childhood favorites. What is more menacing than a big buff ninja in black with cool weapons??? How about a big buff ninja in black who reveals a scary insect face when you remove his mask!!!! Very cool figures for being so obscure.
They even had a really cool name----NINJA ASSASSINS!!!!!!!!! Talk about a line name that makes a bold statement!

Slowly getting there with the loose collection on these guys, still need some clothing for a few guys and a bunch of weapons as well. The bonus is that most of the weapons are the same for each figure, so pic taking wise just need to reuse the proper weapons for each figure.

I would say that finding them MOC or loose complete can be tough. Its to bad that the rubber leg holsters are missing on these, but still a nice loose set. I do have some other loose incomplete ones if your interested in putting a set together, LMK.
Ninja Assassins Pincer no accessories (one hand has fingers broken) Ninja Assassins Reaper has cape & hood Ninja Defenders Mentor has cape Ninja Defenders Mentor no accessories Ninja Defenders Tyro no accessories (one hand has fingers broken) Ninja Defenders Rotund San no accessories Ninja Defenders Wipeout no accessories (one hand has fingers broken)

honestly, ive been watching out for these guys for a while. and theres a LOT of people bidding on them on ebay in the past few months. I'm suprised too because i would have thought they were relativelyt obscure. i would say hold on to em for sure, because they are one of the more unique obscure lines! they seem to be getting pricey. 15-20 dollars is the going rate for each of them so far as ive been seeing.

$15-$20 will generally cover a loose figure w/working action feature, no weapons, decent wrist bands/leg sheath, & maybe the gi, if you're lucky. They came with a good array of weapons, so that's always a challenge when trying to complete them loose. The mask is almost always missing & the rubber wrist bands/leg sheath often degrades & becomes brittle. There are variations in colors & fabric materials used as well.
I have an extra Assassins Strykor w/o gi & Defenders Ringo w/gi-(both have working action features & good wrist bands/leg sheaths) if anyone is looking for either of those guys. I still need an Assassins Terminator.

Since I hijacked this thread with some knock-offs, and since this thread is lacking any actual reference to the topic at hand...

10incher - what ever happened to you posting those pics? I'm trying to find larger moc pictures of these and a card back picture. I have a bunch of this stuff and I'm trying to get it sorted.

Here's a pic of the cardback. Some of the weapons they show on the cardback are mixed up a bit. Every figure has a quiver, sword and dagger though the top row figures come with a longbow and a sickle and the bottom row figures a crossbow and a pistol. Seen 8 of the 10 carded in pics and it looks like thats how they are setup. I just went through my loose figures last night and I still need the following parts so LMK if ya have them to trade or sell: Rotund San mask Tyro mask Terminator vest Strykor vest Dagger (7) Quiver (4) Sickle (1)

I don't suppose I could trouble you to send me or upload a pic of Rotund San unmasked?
I used Rotund San in a custom figure I made and now I'm doing a feature on my detailing the creation and I can't find a pic of an unmasked Rotund San to use as a reference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
