How many of you have interest in these? They range from Star Wars to Superman and Elvira to Lassie. Virtually any character in pop culture has their own likeness in a statue. I've personally taken an interest in a company called Electric Tiki. They make awesome maquettes of all kinds of tv and cartoon characters. I'm currently going after their entire Married With Children line and their Elvira and Woody Woodpecker items look incredible as well. They are especially great for displaying. Who else here collects these?

I have very few statues compared to toys. Bowen designs Madman : statue, mini-bust, pewter pin; Hellboy magnet; and Marvel 8" Thor and Loki.
I also have about 25 buddha, and at least a dozen other religious /mythical statues. My favorite's the Monkey King aka Great Sage unto Heaven (Chinese Buddhist Folklore and a 70s Japanese TV show that was redubbed by the BBC).

I'm starting to get into statues and mini-busts. Electric Tiki stuff is awesome. My wife has the color maquettes of Samantha from Bewitched on her broom, I Dream of Jeannie, and is currently collecting The Munsters statues. I've got a guy that has a dealer account w/ Sideshow so we get them at cost. Can't wait for him (It's pretty much run totally by the artist Tracey Lee) to put out The Tick statue. I just wish he would do The Addams Family at some point.

The pics all over the web, and on DC Direct itself, show the new Zatanna Mini Bust with...
-Trunk Base with traveling stickers on it -Fishnets on her legs
Some pics show her smiling and some show her tongue out like she's concentrating on pulling something out of her hat.
But now I'm seeing real life pictures pop up on eBay where there are NO stickers and NO fishnets.
I particularly liked those little details and I think it really sucks that they can't get an accurate picture on their own website! Hell, every major and minor vendor displays this too. I wonder how many people who already bought it have complained or returned it.

Update on this. I e-mailed a seller of the item and was told that the fishnets were there, but there were no stickers on the trunk. I swear I saw 2 already w/ just flat black legs (like stocking). Weird.

Dude, the original pics were probably of a prototype. Finished products often lose litle details like that. You have to figure each sticker and the fishnets wre multiple paint applications, which, from a production standpoint, are the most costly and easiest to cut.

You have to figure each sticker and the fishnets wre multiple paint applications, which, from a production standpoint, are the most costly and easiest to cut. Yeah I know these pics were prelim pics, but for an item that is close to release or actually released, the picture should be updated. It's just a crappy way of doing business, especially in something where appearance is everything. However, technically they are covering themselves with a small fine print about the photo possibly differing from the actual product. I didn't look closely enough I guess. I checked real quick on EE and TFAW and TFAW doesn't have any such wording readily apparent. And the text could be a lot clearer to customers regardless. In most cases I imagine it's not that big of an issue. Nothing really significant usually changes on the whole, but this was a case where I was surprised. So I was a bit harsh originally...not surprising for me at 2:49am ....but maybe this thread will help someone else looking for this bust, or perhaps to keep more of an eagle eye in general. I'll probably update this one more time when I finally receive mine (just got one off eBay), and give the details on what it really looks like.

Was gonna ask the same thing. Looks like a fun set, regardless. Congrats for putting it together.

Unfortunately there was never a bud statue produced. I have even emailed the owner of electric tiki and found out that the low sales of the line contributed to them cancelling him. The black dress kelly is one of only 50 worldwide.

I recently got the Electric Tiki Hellboy statue. I love it. Now I have to make a bulletproof place to display it so my kids don't destroy it.
