Does anyone else remember this toyline? I absolutely love anything Addams family. My wife and I recently picked up an on-card Gomez and it got us into the idea of collecting the entire set. There are even a few unproduced figures on the back of the card (such as Wednesday). I double checked with Playmates just to make sure that they were never released in any limited format, and they were not. Anyway, anyone else have these too?

That's a cool Gomez - I don't remember this toy line at all (although I vaguely remember the toon)

I have a carded Lurch, Uncle Fester, Granny and Morticia. That would complete your set! Send me a message if you're interested.

This brings up a few thoughts i hate to think about. the 80s and 90s had so many many action figure lines...most of them i would like to have. sure you can track them down on ebay and what not but there is nothing like going into a store and buying these fresh off the pegs. man i wish that i had a time machine cause there is nothing like these types of lines any more...if its not tied to a major motion picture or some video game its not going to happen. i wonder what the real reasons for this is? maybe they just can find stores to carry little lines of 8 or so figures with nothing else in the line??

I totally agree, I can remember some lines as they were on the racks and shelves at Toys-R-Us and Kay-Bee so vividly but there's no way to get that feeling back other than through your mind's eye. I have a feeling that the reason lines aren't produced without a TV show or movie or as a rehash is because its probably considered too risky for the toy companies. There were a LOT of toys that just didn't make the cut back then and they got reduced like crazy or just collected dust. It was a gamble. Now I think they mostly all go the safe route or go for super cheap and cheezy. It's a shame because who knows how many creative lines could have come out since .

I worked for Kay-Bee when these came out. I ended up buying several sets of them, I still have a complete set carded and loose, along with some extras.
