Then you have a expensive taste in Ko's, i think the nightmare warriors are gonnna be the easiest to get since most of the ko collectors i know allready scored a full run and since then the prices have went down a bit. The last time i saw a full run go it costed $50 or $60.... Speclatron is way more expensive don't expext to get these guys for under $100 a piece if they are correctly listed.....
I myself am a big motu ko and joe ko collector but haven't wandered in speclatron or nigtmare warriors yet just because they are so freakin expensive. And the warrior beasts I have got are all aquired through trade

I just got my first Speclatron figure! Won him on ebay in a lot along with Mumm-Ra, a Super Natural, and Wolf Warrior. Total was $97! You guys aren't kidding, these babies are expensive! Luckily, Speclatron wasn't listed in the auction, I'm sorry, I don't know how to post a link to ebay yet.

Just acquired a silver Man-E-Faces gun in a lot, and I know some came with Speclatron figures, but my question is- Are there any other Knockoff lines that had silver Man-e-faces guns?

Some Fleaxatron also came with them . The weapons are VERY much all over the place on almost all the Galaxy style figures.

Why of all the MOTU accessories to rip-off they chose that gun? Wouldn't Mattel have been pissed?

Naaah, not even worth going after them on it. I like when people put them with a Man-E- Faces and the auction goes ape sh*t.

Really? The Silver Man- E- Faces guns go for big $? Not that I want to sell mine, I'm just curious. Not to go off topic, but what other weapons did Speclatron figures come with?

Ehhh, the silver man-e gun is aiight, but the RAREST Speclatrons came packed out with those semi transluscent little deli rapiers you'd expect to see sticking out of a reuben sandwich. This is true . You know your stuff my good man.

Very cool, congrats on copping that figure.
I've only seen 3 figures from this line: your guy, black-bearded guy and the really cool skeleton. Are there more?
Never seen one on eBay personally.

I agree Speclatron figures are very cool. I don't have any and would be interested in learning more about them. I've seen a beardeed Viking-type guy out there before. I think Meaty has a bunch in his collection.

I really would like to see both Speclatron and Flexatron characters' pics. I've caught random images of them in various places over the years but would like to see, exactly, all the figures. Man, what a pain to hunt down info on these guys!

were Speclatron figures also released under the title Aquamen? Yes, I think it was over in Europe though under Aquaman. I've own a flexatron fig before. It was neon green with the devil looking dude who is black and white from speclatron head on it. I've saved pics of them but have so many on my computer it will take me awhile to find them.

Also, are these guys supposed to turn at the waist? If someone has won that does or does not, please let me know! Speclatrons do not turn at the waist. At least not in their original factory issued state. The torso is glued to the trunks with an adhesive of some kind. As if preserving action figures wasn't a challenge in itself-let's add water & low grade plumber's adhesive to the mix. Oddly enough, they still tend to age more gracefully than most figures in the Blackstar series. BTW, I have an extra gold robot for sell if anyone wants one.

So what was the most valuable, hard-to-find piece in that lot? The Laser Force figure or the Speclatron figure?

So what was the most valuable, hard-to-find piece in that lot? The Laser Force figure or the Speclatron figure? In my opinion....the Speclatron would be the most valuable & sought after of that lot. The Lazer Force guys tend to sell for quite a bit lower than most Speclatrons that I've personally seen, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're an easy find. The last Lazer Force that I saw on eBay-which was properly listed as such, was of the carded variety & went for around $150 if memory serves. That was the highest price I had seen for them. Typically they seem to slip in under the radar. There are several different Lazer releases-international & domestic. I've seen more of them listed internationally though.

Awesome Grizz - Thanks! The thing that struck me about this auction is that I've seen speclatron figures go for a lot, but the overwhelming price of this particular auction seemed way off base. I just wanted the Speclatron Hero figure and nomally I would have bought a lot like this and sold off everything else to hopefully get the figure I wanted for free - That definitely wasn't happening with this auction - crazy!

Are these the right weapons for Dethlor? I got the figure awhile back but just recently came across these weapons in a weapons lot. They're either Speclatron or Flexatron or both.

You can't really tell by the carded pic below, but based on the cardback, its the wrong shield you have paired up. Meaty or TKOM would know for sure though.

Wow...nice to see some concrete info on these guys! Thanks for the pics! Glad to see they have a little backstory...now I can get their names straight. Isn't there a robot dude, though? What's his name? I mean, I've seen these guys as Aquamen and in a deluxe box-like package...but you rarely get to see a cardback.

Those cardbacks are so cool! I wonder what the hole is for though.... i don't know a whole helluvalot about speclatron, but i vaguely remember reading somewhere that some of the figures have a pumping action? is this correct knowledge anyone who owns any? if so, that may explain the card hole. i have one figure, but it doesn't have anything like that...read it in an ebay listing description at one time i believe....

Yeah, there was a liquid inside with glitters in it, and by pumping it would cause the glitters to twirl, like one would by shaking a snow globe. Of course, over the years the liquid solidified and crumbled.
