I'm sure I asked this a couple of times before, I should really write the answer down because I always forget the name of the series. Tonka made a series a Steel truck in the mid or late 80's. The trucks were armored and modified construction truck, each vehicles cames with one or two figures. Do you know what I am talking about?
Thanks a lot Andre

correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone know if the Canadian version had bilingual writings on the trucks themselves? I somehow remember funny french translations on the side of the trucks...

Has anyone ever seen this Steel Monsters mini vehicle multi-pack? Wouldn't it have been cool if they did that packaging for the full size vehicles!

I feel like im in the twilight zone. 9 years ago these toys were dirt cheap. Is anyone else noticing a trend? Blackstar figures are getting more and more expensive also...

i always thought steel monsters was cool. i remmeber having metalhead's vehicle, or whatever his name is. I immediatly lost the figure, but those tonka trucks could take an absolute BEATING. talk about non-biodegradable, those things are fantastically awesome for kids. i forgot how much fun tonka vehicles were. they really dont make toys like that anymore.
