I own most of the G1 line from 1984-1986 and only need 8 more to complete these years. I have most of them from 1987 and only need 12 more. From 1988 and up to when the G1 line ended in 1990/92 I have a number of figures, but am concentrated on filling in my collection for these years - Micromasters, Pretenders & Action Masters.
i have about 50 different g1 but i have lots of doubles and will ALWAYS take another soundwave or casette figure i also have a couple newer but not many and i have a double of optimus prime beast wars it stands about 13inches high and has lots of detail i know another collector would appreciate more (hint hint anyone?)

Well, unfortunately, I am in my infancy stage of collecting Transformers. I only have about 20 of them. Only about 15 are complete. But, I am working on them now, and hopefully, by summer of next year, will have most of the first 4 series of figures, to correspond with the cartoon. Then, I'll move on to Star Wars, i think. Or maybe finish up GI Joe.

Not many. I'm something of a perfectionist when it comes to collecting and the stickers have always killed it for me when it comes to G1 stuff (which I would concentrate on if it weren't for that). That said, I'm starting to get into some of the newer stuff. I've got three new ones so far(Cybertron Red Alert and Thundercracker, and Classics Starscream).
I had a bunch of Transformers when I was little, but they've all been lost or sold off at this point.
I've cut back my TF collection significantly in recent years. It used to be almost my entire toy collection. Now it makes up about 1/4th of it. I probably only have about 100 official Transformers at this point. All I keep these days are 1984/1985 G1, some Armada (because I like Minicons), and playsets that works well with minicons.

I only have a dozen or so G1's. Very incomplete. I sold many over the years and probably shouldn't have. I got a huge bin of beast wars a couple weeks ago, they were all in pieces and I picked up th bin for 5 bucks. I want through 1/4 the bin and put together what I could. I'm missing about 5 to ten beast wars figs in total. I got most of the deluxes and transmetals 1 & 2. I am still building these sets. Transformers are hard to come by sometimes at decent prices. I don't get the new ones maybe in a couple of years or so.
That was actually taken around 2002.. or 03.. right after the start of the Armada series anyway. My collection has grown since this was taken. So it doesn't show my Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Alternators, Classics, Movie, BotCon or Masterpiece series.
Unfortunately I have moved since this pic was taken so I don't have that wall display anymore and about 90% of my collection is all stored away.
Considering the flack TF collectors have copped in other thread, am I safe posting in here?
Have over 200- mostly G1 and G1 with some RiD BW2 and AEC spattered through it. The pride of my collection is my mint boxed pretfs, Blaster & Perceptor, a sealed set of pre-tf Powerdashers, a sealed set of Godmasters (Aquastar et al), MOSC UK Constructicons and Rescue force, Sealed almost complete set of G1 Axelerators (only missing Hotrider), sealed Thunderclash and Skyquake, sealed Argentinean Windcharger and Cliffjumper and with non-toy stuff, the original paste up board for the G2 Issue 10 letters page where I quoted back Simon furman's "for me personally it never neds" line back at him.
One. (and it's a Pretender at that) I totally adore the craftsmanship of TFs but I'm generally about muscle-fantasy themed figures. There's probably only 10 to 20 G1 TFs on my lazy 'wishlist' anyways - Starting with Bluestreak, my fave TF purely for nostalgic reasons. Ending with The Constructicons/Devastator, simply because I've never 'played' with it.
Edit: okay, as of yesterday, make that six (added one combiner lot). Sadly still my all time record in TF ownership.
