I have almost all the figures, a Veritech fighter, Cyclone and the Hovercraft. Anyone else collect this line? Out side of Ebay, the vehicles seem pretty hard to find and can be pretty pricey. You also have to deal with telling them apart from the Harmony Gold reissues. Check out the Robotech toy gallery on the main Website here

I wish i would have noticed my Frankensteined Bernard earlier. When I picked up lunk, the store had a MOC Scott Bernard as well for $6.

This may sound like an odd question but is Scott Bernard's helmet actually supposed to fit on his head? I just wondered if I'm missing a trick here because mine is way to tight to fit

I've been thinking about obtaining the figures from the Macross saga for a while now, but probably won't get around to doing it. I'm always more interested in large toy lines with a lot of variety than toylines relating to a cartoon or other licensed characters that I like.

This isn't a harcore line for me, but I do pick them up when I can find them cheap or in trade.
One thing you may want to consider is whether you want to go for Matchbox or Harmony Gold (or a mix of the two). The Harmony Gold stuff is usually easier to find (at least the 3 3/4" figures), and there are sometimes job lots of MOC figures to be found. Personally I'm happy to mix as I just want a bunch of loose figures for display, but if you want to be specific it can sometimes be difficult to tell which is which in loose auction pics.
(Also, I've noticed in the UK these are often listed on ebay in the 'Collectables' catogory under animation and not in toys)

I was wondering if there are any differences between the Harmony Gold and Matchbox Robotech figures. I realize the packaging is different, but I am talking about the figures themselves? Are the Harmony Gold ones still marked Matchbox on the figure? Check out the Matchbox Robotech figure gallery on the main site at www.action-figures.ca/robotech.htm

just so you know, the scott bernard you have actually has snake eyes v2's arms? and the difference between harmony and matchbox is quality of plastic. the matchbox ones have a glossy hard hasbro gi joe type plastic but the harmony figures have a lighter flat plastic with lends to loosness. i have figures from both. only advantage i would say is getting harder to find figures from harmony.

Does anyone have the black 3 3/4" Miriya? I still have to track one down myself, though this line has been on the backburner for awhile now. I picked up a complete SDF-1 playset locally a few years back as well, just gotta take some pics of it for the site.

I only have the matchbox figures. But the Exo squad releases of the mechs display nicely with the Matchbox ones
