I have the purple guy with the cyborg arm, and the gold weapon in the second picture looks really familiar. These guys aren't marked in any way, but they're made by Schaper Toys. There are about 8 figures in the series.

As far as I know, Jungle Max was never released. The unconfirmed figures and vehicles are Max Action w/Jungle Max & X-Tingtor w/ Obliterator. If anyone has any information that these were produced, then please bring it to light. my action figure encyclopedia says there are 8 figs all released by themeselves and then again with some sort of rideon accessory (like the first pic I suppose). No problem my friend. As a collector there is no better feeling than completing a collection. Glad I could help. This is such a fun line! For anyone looking for more info on this line, check out this website. You will find no better place for info about this line as it's been built by the man who designed the line himself. It is one of the best accounts of a toylines inception and life EVER! melbirnkrant.com/animax/

Wait a minute! If this is all the figures, where is X-tinctor? Are you telling me the main bad guy wasn't produced? That's like not making Skeletor, Megatron, Cobra Commander, or General Spidrax. That's ludacris!

I know that really sucks that they never did those figures and Animax. Also thanks for the site link, I went to his site awhile back, but he has done a lot of updates since then. Wait a minute! Yeah it's a shame- the main hero and villain not being produced, as well as that awesome Bridge of Doom playset. That site is excellent.

Huh...you know...although I saw a few of the baddies loose, and that dragon vehicle once...I never really "looked into" this toy line heavily. Weird...I actually really like the VEHICLES more than the figures!

I have been catching up on my toy backlog. Hopefully later today I will get a chance to post some pics of other items from this series.

I don't think they ever made it. Would be one sweet bohemoth of a playset though.

they never made the main villain either, which is pretty surprising, because a) he's the MAIN villain, and b) he looks awesome!

Yeah, I did remember reading a dinky little article once in an old issue of Toyfare about these...*shudder*...they can be a bit untrustworthy, though. That thing looks awesome. Both the playset and the main bad dude...anyone got a close-up of him...I know I found some old artwork somewhere online, but forget!

God......so depressing...and THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is why I never bothered to follow my dream of making toys, comics, or cartoons myself.
*sigh*
At any rate...those freakin' drawings were (are) so rad! Way better than the actual product...I may try collecting what scraps of this line made it into existence...when I get extra money.

It is always sad when items go unproduced. Although Tribes takes the cake for being an entire series to go unproduced, Animax is right up there for not releasing the main villain and vehicle, playset, etc.

I had GreaseKicker and his vehicle when I was a kid, I just finally found out what this line was called last week. I spent years trying to figure out the name of this line!

I dont know why I love this line so much, I have never owned anything from it apart from the comics, but it will always be on my most wanted list.

The likely answer you are going to receive is that you will have to keep searching Ebay. We would like to see photos of what you have.
