This has actually been in the rumor mill since maybe November last year. Mike Horn actually posted over at Palisades saying that he's heard that rumor 100's of times in Palisades history and they always pull through.
Maybe they can pull it off again but who knows, they sunk a lot of money into the Muppets and other cult lines that just didn't bring the return they needed. I know my local stores weren't the only ones with Muppets on clearance which eventually led to them not keeping the line on the shelves.
I'm honestly sad to see them go but at the same time the last thing I bought from them was the Pink Panther line. I was looking forward to Crittaz but that never happend. Sesame Street could have been cool but it definetly wasn't the Muppets. The possibility of getting some Fraggle Rock characters was about all that kept me checking in on the site.
I have to say though they by far had the best Collectors Club that I've ever been a member of and their customer service was top of the line.

I'm sorry to hear that. My favorite Palisades lines were "The Muppets" & "Pink Panther." They had a Capt. Kirk & Gene Roddenberry 6" figure 2-pack in the works, but cancelled it.

They had some really cool plans for The Micronauts line a few years ago. Looked like they were planning on bringing the Marvel version of the 'Nauts to the 3 3/4" scale(Baron Karza, Biotron, Microtron, Commander Rann, etc.) I've seen pics of the Micronauts:Evolution line. I'm not impressed. Maybe in the future either Takara or even Hasbro could get the ball rolling with this line.

I never even saw the Pink Panther line out here in LA. So sad. The Muppets will be remembered as one of the BEST action figure lines of all time. So Sad we'll never get the Sesame Street figures that I'd dreamed about.

Sad news. I really appreciated their Micronauts re-issue line even with is few issue. They had the best after service around, I once had broken part on my Baron Karza and changed them for free, no question asked!

I will not miss them...I am still mad about the two cases of micronauts that I bought from these guys...I broke 2 figures trying to get them out of the package. I think this retro line would have done well if they had not have made them so cheap and not have made so many color variations... I did like alot of there other lines, none of which I collect, but when you spend 100+ bucks on poor quality figures it takes awhile to get over it...
